I think this would have been better if I were a kid and therefore had no eye for realism (though this is in no way a kids' western!). The acting isn't good, but not like Junior High bad. Scriptwriting feels flat, too, I guess. The fight scenes are worse than on the Batman series from the 1960s. The actors seem to be wrong for the parts sometimes. Some accents are poorly played...don't seem realistic. Worst of all for me was the costumes seemed like they'd just been purchased, they were new and clean. Many of the guns (or maybe the way they were handled by the actors) seemed like they were toys.
I felt the story was interesting and could have been so much more with better editing, props, and acting. The movie left me confused for a while so I almost quit watching but then the puzzle started coming together, so I am glad I stuck with it. I do not regret watching this movie, but I have no desire to see it a second time.
