You might want to take heed and actually step back from this movie, because it simply isn't worth it. And yeah, the incredibly low score on IMDb is definitely a clear indication of how abysmal the 2021 movie "Decapitarium" really is.
I still opted to give the movie a chance, despite of its low rating. Why? Well, because it was listed as "Re-Animator" meets "Stranger Things". Yeah, well "Decapitarium" was not even remotely near that.
The storyline told in "Decapitarium", as written by writers P. J. Hruschak, Jeff Dunn, Travis Dunn and Michael Spivey was just horrible. It astounds me that four people could collectively manage to come up with something laughable as this.
Not only is the storyline rubbish, but the acting performances are rigid, wooden and amateurish at best. I can't claim to have found any enjoyment in the acting performances put on in this movie.
Sometimes a B movie is so bad that it becomes fun to watch, if not downright enjoyable. "Decapitarium" was no such movie. Nay, it was just downright bad.
The special effects in there movie were bland, but not among the worst of special effects I have stumbled upon in my many years of watching low budget horror movies. And that cyborg in the movie? Wow, are you kidding me? They couldn't find an actor without a massive beer belly to portray a synthetic person? Whom would build a cyborg with such a massive beer gut?
Do yourself a favor and stay well clear of "Decapitarium". Some of us suffered through this ordeal of a movie in some or full extend, so you don't have to. My rating of "Decapitarium" lands on a two out of ten stars.
