The only reason i bothered to rate this short film at all is because of it's beautiful cinematography (and shout out to the costume and makeup department) That's the only reason i didn't give it a lower rating.
'Whipped' is an uninspiring and unintelligible short film that feels overly prerogative and nosy for no apparent reason. And because of this, the plot itself feels misguided and demeaning.
'Whipped' is definitely a slow burn short film, with the camerawork really being the only purpose this film has to offer in terms of being enjoyable or entertaining. It's clearly that this short film wanted to say and commentate on our society, but ultimately that became it's downfall.
Overall, not very impressive.
