Worst Adaptaions of all time

With all of his talent, insight, and incredible sense of direction, one scratches their head and wonders how Spielberg could get this one so wrong. Critics are split down the middle, but in my mind, this is one of the worst science fiction films ever made. If you love child abuse, you'll love this horrible vision of the future.

Take what some writers have called one of the greatest novels ever written and turn it into a filmed stage play including two-dimensional flats and scene changes as if the camera were moving around inside a stage play. Interesting concept. Too distracting to make it work on such complex material.
