Also known as “Uncle Ron,” the bodyguard had passed away back in September. Since then, some fans have been alleging a conspiracy concerning his death.

In addition to his work as a bodyguard, “Uncle Ron” served as something of a TikTok personality. Tragically, Smith passed away this past September.

A video had been released on Smith’s Tik Tok channel announcing his passing, shared by his wife Evelyn. It read, “I would like to inform everyone on [Tik Tok] of my husband passing. Uncle Ron will always be remembered & [loved].”

The 52-year-old Bad Teacher actress made a surprise appearance at Elle’s 2024 Women in Hollywood celebration on Tuesday (November 19) held at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Cameron donned a shimmering black top with a coordinating black skirt as she helped honor Emilia Pérez stars Karla Sofía Gascón, Selena Gomez, and Zoe Saldaña.

The film will debut at 8 p.m. Et. Per CNN, the project “chronicles the story of Vandross from his formative years in Harlem, appearing in the Apollo Theater house band and the first episodes of Sesame Street, through his ascendance to become the indisputable master of the love song.” Vandross’ own voice is featured to tell the story via archival clips, along with interviews with Mariah Carey, Dionne Warwick, Valerie Simpson and Roberta Flack. Netflix has dropped the first trailer for Back in Action, which stars Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz as Matt and Emily, two ex-CIA spies who find themselves dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown. The streaming service also revealed the release date for Back in Action, with the action comedy flick set to premiere on January 17th. After an 11-year hiatus from acting, Diaz has returned to the big screen in Netflix’s spy action comedy “Back in Action,” along with her “Annie” co-star Jamie Foxx. “Back in Action” will premiere on Netflix on Jan. 17.

The comedic thriller follows Diaz and Foxx as a retired CIA agent couple, Emily and Matt, who find themselves out of the suburbs and back on the field when their cover is suddenly exposed. The trailer has plenty of action, including Foxx burning henchmen with a flamethrower and the couple escaping a plummeting plane with a parachute. Think of them like Jason Bourne, but “we remember stuff,” as Foxx quips in the trailer.

After taking a 10 year hiatus from acting, Cameron Diaz is “Back in Action” in the first teaser trailer for the buddy action movie which also stars Jamie Foxx.

The duo plays Emily and Matt, former CIA agents who gave up the spy life to start a family, but wind up … well, back in action after their cover is blown. The last film from Diaz debuted in 2014 when she also starred alongside Foxx in the musical adaptation, “Annie.”

“For the first time in a really long time, I feel alive again,” Diaz says in the trailer. “I felt like the bitch again.”

The film will be released globally on Netflix on Jan. 17, 2025.

Quincy Jones died of pancreatic cancer, according to the music legend’s death certificate, which was obtained by TMZ.

Jones died earlier this month, on Nov. 3, at the age of 91. A cause of death was not revealed at the time, and it does not seem that it was publicly known that Jones was battling cancer. Per the death certificate, there were no other contributing factors to his death.
