This recently premiered at the Cinéfest Sudbury Film Festival in Canada, and it's set for a VOD debut in December. Not to be confused with the acclaimed 2019 Chinese film also titled Better Days. After her husband dies, a woman starts to do whatever she wants and begins wearing her husband's Halloween costumes. When her children order her to go back to being her old self, she must decide whose happiness matters most in a delightful comedy about starting over & figuring yourself out before it's too late. The film stars Sonja Smits as Kate in the lead role, with Alix Sideris, Sara Hinding, Gregory Calderone, Blair Williams, Dean Armstrong, Sugenja Sri, and Luke Francis. Looks like a nice story...

The Old Way is a Western directed by Brett Donowho, written by Carl W. Lucas starring Nicolas Cage.
Yes, Nicolas Cage will (probably) work with no breaks this year and already has premieres ahead such as Renfield (in which he will be Dracula with his usual mayhem). Meanwhile, we can see him here in a Western which although it might not go down in the History of Film, is decent enough as far as production and ambience.
And, also has an incomparable philosophical subject: Nicolas Cage wears a Stetson!

With writer/director Declan O’Brien’s Joy Ride 3: Road Kill releasing to DVD and Blu-ray this Tuesday, June 17th, here’s additional coverage stemming from our set visit last summer to the same in Winnipeg, Canada.
Written and directed by O'Brien, whose previous horror entries include the Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment features Wrong Turn 3, Wrong Turn 4 and Wrong Turn 5 (as well as Syfy's Sharktopus), Joy Ride 3: Road Kill (review) originated with the 2001 Paul Walker-starring, J.J. Abrams-co-scripted film Joy Ride.
Produced by Kim Todd, this installment (which melds the worlds of tuner car racing and road-trip horror) stars Ken Kirzinger (Freddy vs. Jason) as the project's villainous truck driver 'Rusty Nail.’
Joining him are Kirsten Prout (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) as tuner-car girl ‘Jewel McCaul,’ Jesse Hutch (Freddy vs. Jason) as racer ‘Jordan Wells,’ Benjamin Hollingsworth (of the television series “Cult”) as mechanic ‘Mickey Cole,...

Writer/director Declan O'Brien's 'Joy Ride 3: Road Kill' is now available on VOD and will shortly be arriving on both DVD and Blu-ray. And Shock Till Your Drop have managed to score a trio of new and exclusive stills from the movie which sees the murderous trucker Rusty Nail back on the road and doing what he does best...knocking off unsupecting young drivers. I can't imagine when it lands here in the UK it'll have the same title as the 'Joy Ride' franchise itself is already known here as 'Roadkill', so deal with that marketing pros. The threequel stars Kirsten Prout, Dean Armstrong, Ben Hollingsworth, Jesse Hutch, Gianpaolo Venuta, Leela Savasta, Sara Mitich, J. Adam Brown and Jake Manley. Head below for the new images....

This past Saturday (10/20) this writer, along with actresses Natalie Victoria (DeadHeads) and Carlee Baker (The Woman)' made the drive from Hollywood to Temecula, CA, to participate in Run For Your Lives, a zombie-infested 5K obstacle course race and lived to tell about it.
Read on for photos and more!
A national phenomenon, this past weekend’s Run For Your Lives event was set up at Vail Lake, Temecula, and in addition to the well-organized race, it included live bands, food and alchohol vendors and a Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines booth (the film streets tomorrow, 10/23, on DVD and Blu-ray via Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment), where filmmaker Declan O’Brien spent some time signing materials after completing his heat (no lie, I had to talk him into the former, and as it turned out, he was happy I did).
So how does Run For Your Lives work? It’s pretty straightforward.

The unrated version of Wrong Turn 4 is available on DVD and Blu-Ray and VOD just in time for the Halloween Season. You can rent Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings for only $3.99. You can also purchase Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings from Amazon. After watching the movie I know why it's unrated and went straight to DVD, the film would have never received a R rating due to the gore, sex and nudity shown. Wrong Turn 4 is directed by Decian O’Brien (Wrong Turn 3) and stars Terra Vnesa, (Sive Girls), Dean Armstrong (Saw 3D) and Kaitlyn Wong (Locked Down). Wrong Turn 4 is a bit of a prequel to the original Wrong Turn.

Wrong Turn 4 Red Band Trailer. Declan O’Brien‘s Wrong Turn 4 (2011) red band movie trailer stars Dean Armstrong, Blane Cypurda, Tenika Davis, Kristen Harris, and Scott Johnson. Wrong Turn 4‘s plot synopsis: “Follows a group of friends that decide to go snowmobiling during their winter break. They make a “wrong turn”, getting lost in a storm, and seek shelter in an abandoned sanatorium. They are completely isolated by the storm and are thankful they can get out of the elements. But the sanatorium has a troubled past, and some of its former patients still reside there and are not happy about the intrusion. In a deadly game of cat and mouse, the college kids must fight to survive the night.”
This looks like a dumb horror sequel with nothing going for it but copious nudity and gore…not that there is anything wrong with that.

Director/writer: Declan O'Brien.

Director Declan O'Brien (Wrong Turn 3) again sets out to direct a Wrong Turn film. This time the title is Wrong Turn 4 or Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings. This third sequel is really a prequel as events take place before the first film in 1973. The disfigured cannibals One Eye (Dan Skene), Three Fingers and Saw-tooth (Scott Johnson) escape from a a sanitarium. Then their path of destruction is set, with some cozy campers coming by for a visit in 2003. They will not stay long, however. Before you know it Wrong Turn 4 has turned into an enjoyable horror feature that is unfortunately hampered with elements of predictability.
These three killers, mentioned above, appear in Wrong Turn 3; so, you know that they will be surviving this film. Only one question remains: how steep will the body count be?...

The Wrong Turn franchise (this will be the fourth in the series) is set to return with sort-of-prequel Bloody Beginnings.

Following on from the trailer and posters released last month, here’s a brand new trailer for Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings, which is written and directed by Declan O’Brien (Wrong Turn 3: Left For Dead). The film serves as a prequel to the 2003 Rob Schmidt-directed original.
At an isolated hospital deep in the West Virginia wilderness, three hideously deformed mutants go on a merciless killing spree. Now, decades later, this family of blood-thirsty cannibals is stalking new prey: a group of young skiers trapped by a blizzard. The abandoned medical wards soon become killing fields as the panicked victims come face to face with a chilling choice: fight back or die. With bonus footage too graphic for theaters, Wrong Turn 4 takes you to the most terrifying place of all…the beginning.
Wrong Turn 4 stars (?) Jennifer Pudavick, Tenika Davis, Kaitlyn Wong, Terra Vnesa, Victor Zinck, Jr.

Here at Dread Central getting head is very important to us. When we do get it, we always make sure we give it back. To not do so is just selfish. Case in point: the latest bit of eye candy for Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings.
Below you'll find the new one-sheet, the previously released one-sheet and the franchise trailer, which takes us down memory lane with a look back at the previous three installments and provides a sneak peek at the mayhem awaiting us in part four.
As we've mentioned previously, Wrong Turn 4 serves as a bit of a prequel to the 2003 Rob Schmidt-directed killer hillbilly flick that launched the franchise and was written and directed by Declan O’Brien (who returns to the series following his helming of Wrong Turn 3: Left For Dead). Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings releases on DVD and Blu-Ray this October. In keeping with the franchise's theme, the inbred cannibals are now stalking their prey in the snow. Declan O'Brien returns to write and direct a cast that includes Terra Vnesa (Degrassi: The Next Generation), Dean Armstrong (Saw 3D), and Tenika Davis (Saw VI). Check out the very bloody, very Nsfw trailer after the break. At an isolated hospital deep in the West Virginia wilderness, three hideously deformed mutants go on a merciless killing spree. I never saw Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead, but I really liked Wrong Turn 2 despite hating the original starring Eliza Dushku. For those unfamiliar to the now-direct-to-video Wrong Turn horror franchise, it centers on a group of inbred mutant mountain men (that's hot!) that get their rocks off killing anyone that may wander into their West Virginia wilderness hunting grounds. Yeah, we're not talking high art here, but when done right as it was in Wrong Turn 2, it can prove to be a lot of fun.
Now looking around, it looks as if Wrong Turn 3 was a dud based on reviews and I was smart for avoiding it, but one can hope Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings will actually be good. To kick off the marketing campaign I just received a "franchise trailer" as well as the below teaser poster for the flick. This will again be a...

This past Monday, March 7, 2011, Dread hit the set of Fox's then-shooting Wrong Turn 4 in the below zero clime of wintry Brandon, Canada. Everything has been leading to this. Or so you'd think. Let's be frank, if we've learnt anything from our series of articles revisiting the Saw series over the last week, it's that the franchise is so wrapped up in retcons, flashbacks and time-bending shenanigans that you couldn't really be surprised if this one had turned out to take place in 2003, before even that very first film back in 2004.
At the very least, I assure you that we're not looking at a prequel. This is very much a straight continuation from the end of Saw VI, and some time during the last year, we find Jigsaw's ex, Jill Tuck, has lost a considerable amount of badass points from having vengefully trapped Jigsaw's bungling successor,...
