John M. Bennett, Executive Producer of "Trauma"; after saving lives on the battlefield as a MEDIVAC team in Afghanistan, the soldiers return home to adjust to civilian life while dealing with their own psychological wounds of war.
John Executive Produced "The Clapper" starring Ed Helms, Tracey Morgan, Amanda Seyfried and directed by Dito Montiel.
John produced the documentary, "Alex & Ali", the story of a gay American Peace Corp volunteer who moved to Iran in 1968 and fell in love with an Iranian man. Ten years on and just prior to the revolution igniting, the American was forced to leave Iran, and his partner. The couple was reunited after 35 years in May of 2012 in Turkey. The film has won over 10 Best Documentary Awards around the world.
John produced the film "Playback", a supernatural thriller starring Christian Slater that was distributed by Magnolia Pictures. "Coming & Going" starring Rhys Darby that premiered on TNT and the MGM released film, "The Betrayed" starring Melissa George.
The critically acclaimed socially conscious documentaries; "22 Years From Home" about a lost boy from Sudan who is miraculously reunited with his family after 22 years and "Standing Silent", an expose' of child abuse in a Baltimore Jewish Orthodox community that resulted in the conviction of the rabbi accused of child sexual abuse.
John also directed the internationally acclaimed short film, "Brothers In Arms".
