I love The A-Team (which we also covered on an episode of Gone But Not Forgotten). I grew up watching the series and had the toys, the Mr. T Cereal, the whole bit. I wasn’t unlike many of my Gen X brothers and sisters in that regard. It was fun, insane, action-packed, and Murdock was my guy.
Over the last few decades, we’ve seen many of these 70s and 80s TV series be redone as feature films or new series for television. The Dukes of Hazzard, Starsky and Hutch, and the list goes on and on. Typically these films are done as just pure comedy. There are the two I just mentioned plus Land of the Lost…and in the case of these three they didn’t stick the landing.
But sometimes, you get a filmmaker and a group who know the assignment and decide to try and...

The first full-length trailer for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three has just hit (via Toonado.com), and it teases what looks to be a high-stakes finale to this animated trilogy (and the Tomorrowverse as we know it).
With the Anti-Monitor on the loose, a whole host of heroes assemble to save the Multiverse, but it looks like that will be easier said than done when they also have Lex Luthor to contend with. Several other villains are also spotted, including The Joker, Scarecrow, and Two-Face.
In terms of cameos, the trailer ends with another Batman: The Animated Series tease. Batman Beyond also appears, but perhaps the biggest surprise comes when we return to the world of the Super Friends!
The Saturday morning cartoon aired between 1973 and 1985 on ABC and was produced by Hanna-Barbera. That classic animation style returns here and we're hoping the movie has even...

Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths - Part Three Cover Art Reveals The Movie's Lead Characters
When the news broke during last year's San Diego Comic-Con that the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic book was being turned into a three-part animated movie, DC fans rejoiced.
The CW previously adapted the story for the Arrowverse, but this version had the opportunity to bring together countless animated characters from across the Dcau in an ambitious retelling of the story. Unfortunately, the opening two chapters have been mostly disappointing.
There's still a chance it will end on a high note, of course, and a first look at Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three's cover art has now found its way online (via Toonado.com).
Recreating the iconic shot of Superman holding the downed Supergirl, we also see Mister Terrific, Batman, Lex Luthor, Hawkgirl, Hourman, Wonder Woman, and The Joker. Looming in the background is the massive Anti-Monitor.
While a Watchmen movie is still expected to be released later this year,...

Crisis On Infinite Earths - Part Three Teaser Features Kevin Conroy's Batman And Mark Hamill's Joker
When we first learned that Warner Bros. Animation was developing a three-part Crisis on Infinite Earths movie, the response from fans was largely positive.
While the Tomorrowverse has been a little hit-or-miss, it's also delivered a lot of very good movies. Needless to say, the prospect of mixing DC characters from that world with so many other animated franchises was undeniably exciting.
Unfortunately, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part One and Part Two proved to be mostly underwhelming affairs, with the only noteworthy cameo being Terry McGinnis/Batman Beyond in the second instalment. As exciting as that may sound, he had no more than a couple of lines in the movie and failed to make much of an impact.
There may, however, be a chance the final instalment redeems itself.

Arguably the best Batman and Joker combo in history is getting back together one last time, and the reunion comes as a pretty sizable surprise. Mark Hamill will once again reprise his role as The Joker alongside the late Kevin Conroy's Batman. Conroy voiced the Caped Crusader for decades, from "Batman: The Animated Series" in the early '90s through Conroy's much-too-early death in 2022. We knew Conroy's voice would be used as Batman once again, and now it has been confirmed that Hamill will be reuniting with his former co-star in one of Conroy's final posthumous performances.
According to IGN, Hamill's Joker and Conroy's Batman are both set to appear in the upcoming "Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths -- Part Three." The first part of the adaptation of the classic DC Comics storyline has already been released, with part two arriving in April. It's a big multiverse story,...

While properties such as Marvel and DC Comics sport countless characters who shine on their own, arguably some of the most memorable stories feature disparate heroes banding together to take down threats larger than anyone can handle alone.

This article contains Once Upon a Time in America spoilers.
The Godfather is a great movie, possibly the best ever made. Its sequel, The Godfather, Part II, often follows it in the pantheon of classic cinema, some critics even believe it is the better film. Robert Evans, head of production at Paramount in the early 1970s, wanted The Godfather to be directed by an Italian American. Francis Ford Coppola was very much a last resort. The studio’s first choice was Sergio Leone, but he was getting ready to make his own gangster epic, Once Upon a Time in America. Though less known, it is equally magnificent.
Robert De Niro, as David “Noodles” Aaronson, and James Woods, as Maximillian “Max” Bercovicz, make up a dream gangster film pairing in Once Upon a Time in America, on par with late 1930s audiences seeing Humphrey Bogart and James Cagney team for The Roaring Twenties...

Smokey and the Bandit, the 1977 comedy classic that cemented the superstardom of the late Burt Reynolds, will soon make an audacious attempt to smuggle itself back into the pop culture picture, with a television series now in the works at Universal Content Productions.
David Gordon Green has been tapped to develop, write, executive-produce and direct the prospective pilot for a new small screen take on the Southern, car-chase-centric, antihero-hailing Universal film franchise on behalf of studio subsidiary Ucp. Green will write alongside Brian Sides, a frequent collaborator, who also directs and produces documentary shows such as The Horn and Alaska: The Last Frontier. They’ll be joined by executive producers in Green’s cohorts from Rough House Pictures, notably Danny McBride, and Seth MacFarlane via his Fuzzy Door banner. David Gordon Green is developing a series adaptation of “Smokey and the Bandit” for Ucp, the studio announced Wednesday.
The project, based on the 1977 film starring Burt Reynolds and Sally Field, is described as “an epic adventure of family, small-town crime, unlikely heroes, legend and legacy. Inspired by the genre of 70s and 80s drive-in double-features, the series explores the crossroads where humble realities meet those larger-than-life, all in a blast of tailpipe exhaust.”
Green will direct the pilot and co-write with Brian Sides. Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins of Fuzzy Door will executive produce under their overall deal with Ucp, alongside Green, Danny McBride, Jody Hill and Brandon James of Rough House Pictures.
In a statement, Green linked the project to his experience growing up in Texas. “Growing up in the south, ‘Smokey and the Bandit’ was an iconic franchise for me,” he said. “The legacy of these characters...

‘Dance Til Dawn’ at 30: The Team Reflects on ‘Unusual Casting Process,’ #MeToo Relevance and DJ Dick
The spring and summer of 1988 were consumed with a writers’ strike within the film and television industry, but one project that launched in the fall came out of it unscathed: “Dance ‘Til Dawn,” an original television movie about Hoover High’s senior prom first aired on NBC Oct. 23, 1988. The movie was a who’s who of 1980s television — from Kelsey Grammer and Alan Thicke, to Christina Applegate, Tempestt Bledsoe and Tracey Gold — and its multi-generational casting allowed it to be an early pioneer of content aimed at a co-viewing audience. It was also a love letter to Los Angeles, utilizing iconic locations such as the Cocoanut Grove at the Ambassador Hotel as its soundstage. Now, 30 years after its initial release, “Dance ‘Til Dawn” also finds new relevance within the era of #MeToo and Time’s Up.

The nominations for the Game Awards have been revealed and it should come to a surprise by no one that Nintendo is leading the way in nominations this year! Here are all the nominations and how to vote!
On December 7, 2017, 2017's video games, their studios, and the people who play them will be honored during The Game Awards 2017, hosted by Geoff Keighley. This year's event should have the gaming world buzzing, as Nintendo is finally in the limelight with about 24 nominations. No other studio can hold that distinction, but Nintendo. It's a long time coming for the once-booming company. The uptick can be attributed to their brand new system, the Nintendo Switch, that has changed the way the world games, as well as the way Nintendo develops.
Video games' biggest night is always a great time to reflect on the best games of the year, but it's also a huge night for reveals.

Entitled Out of the Blue, it spawned five hit singles and sold five million copies worldwide. The chart topping “Foolish Beat” made her the youngest female artist to write, produce and perform a top single – a record that endures today.
Gibson is still around. Her follow-up album, Electric Youth, went straight to no. 1. She continues to release new music and she occasionally acts—most recently in the 2016 TV Movie Summer of Dreams. She is releasing a box set of her music later this...

Well, it’s about time. For the last twenty-five years or so, we’ve had one animated Batman series after another but to be honest only two are really good: Batman the Animated Series and Batman: The Brave and the Bold. The latter has been slowly coming out on Blu-Ray with season one in 2013 and season two in 2015. This month, we’re getting the third and final season and the good news is that it is as entertaining as remembered.
After increasingly odd interpretations of Batman, Warner Animation decided to go retro and bring back the Batman of the 1960s, who was not afraid to operate in daylight and would partner with just about anyone in a mask as the need arose. Producer James Tucker saw to it that it honored the comic the series took its name from while modernizing it with contemporary characters and characterizations. The result was...

It is fair to say that Activision haven’t handled the release of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare well. The release of the game in such a restricted way created bad press, and an unpopularity around the release. The question is though, is Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare actually any good?
There are certain rules I make for myself when I play Call of Duty, and that makes it a more tolerable game for me. One of those is to turn of voice chat, to get rid of the toxic nature of the game. While it is annoying that you can’t “block all” on the menus, it is a rule I stick to. Even taking that into consideration, I have become a fan of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Before I get onto the multiplayer though, what about the campaign?

A follow up to one of the generations best shooters is being teased again, this time by the voice actor of the game.
In an interview with TwoLeftSticks the voice actor behind B.J. Blazkowicz, Brian Bloom, says that they could potentially be working on Wolfenstein 2. Well, whatever they want to call the follow up to Wolfenstein: The New Order which was somewhat of a reboot in the series.
"If you look at Bethesda's E3 2016 lineup there was a title hinted at in a cool way," Bloom said. "It sparked a bit of wildfire. That subtle, very simple Dos language, going through the titles. Perhaps we're working on that as we speak."
In the interview he mentions how the very small tease at E3 created a huge audience to take note. At E3 Bethesda showed a Dos boot screen which listed several games, mostly games that were made by them.

Imagine if Jean-Luc Godard made a film starring Woody Allen circa Annie Hall...only the nostalgic and neurotic result was far more grating than any of the iconic romances created by either of those auteurs. Such is 5 to 7, a romantic comedy-drama starring Anton Yelchin as Brian Bloom, an ambitious young writer who falls for Arielle, played by Skyfall Bond Girl Berenice Marlohe, after they meet cute while smoking outside the hotel where Arielle is having lunch.

A naive American starts an affair with a sophisticated Frenchwoman in New York in a sweet take on un liaison that emulates the auteur without totally aping him
There is a certain type of romantic that is drawn to doomed love stories. If you’d take Doctor Zhivago over Sleepless in Seattle, you may want to book some time for 5 to 7.

Victor Levin’s new film, 5 To 7, is a rehashing of the “struggling young writer finds inspiration through life experience” story with all of the tropes you could hope (or not) to find. Even the more predictable elements are at play, with a weepy love story pushing the narrative forward. Even though this may be too familiar of a scenario to latch on to, there’s still something very endearing about the film that satisfies on multiple levels.
The story follows Brian Bloom (Anton Yelchin), a twenty-something New York writer who wears his failures as a badge of honor, with rejection letters from literary magazines strewn about his midtown apartment. One day, while walking through Manhattan, he’s struck by the vision of a beautiful French woman named Arielle (Berenice Marlohe) standing outside the St. Regis Hotel. They strike up a conversation, and eventually move on to meeting for a cigarette...

There is an entire genre of films about a young man yearning to be a famous writer. A blank, unpublished slate at the film's beginning, these mild-turning-bold characters lose their innocence and find a topic — usually heartbreak — discovering themselves by the end credits. Perhaps it's ripe fodder for cinema because people are reading fewer books these days? "5 to 7" represents the worst scenario of the genre. It opens unpromisingly with the hero, Brian Bloom (Anton Yeltchin) announcing in a precious voice-over that the best writing can be found on the benches of Central Park. The worst writing is in the rejection letters he pins to his walls from magazines to which he has submitted his work. (Apparently, no one in this film communicates via email). Such are the quirky writer-ly details that inform his character. With no identifiable job, this 24 year-old would-be writer meets Arielle (the stunningly beautiful Bérénice Marlohe), an attractive 33 year-old French woman.

Marvel Anime is back with a new movie, “Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher,” and it’s definitely a step up from their last outing that featured these two characters. Last seen in cameos in “Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore,” Black Widow and Punisher take center stage this time around in a search for the source of some high-tech weapons.
