Daniel Caltagirone (born in St Pancras, London, UK) is a British actor known for his performances in The Pianist (2002), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life (2003), and The Beach (2000). A Guildhall School of Music & Drama graduate, he began his career with the Royal Shakespeare Company before transitioning to film and television.
His notable credits include Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1999), The Tudors (2006), Britannia (2017), and That Dirty Black Bag (2021). In 2022, he was cast as a parallel lead alongside Vikram in Pa Ranjith's Thangalaan, marking a milestone for Western actors in Tamil cinema.
