Born in Florence, Italy. Fluent in English, French and Italian. Simona travels frequently to Paris (France), where she has lived for four years, London (UK) and Los Angeles. She made her debut as an actress in 1994, working alongside Italian household name Alberto Sordi in the feature film Nestore l'Ultima Corsa (directed by Alberto Sordi). Simona Caparrini gained more fame in Italy and abroad in 2012, when she was chosen by Woody Allen to play Aunt Joan in his feature film To Rome with Love. In 2013 she worked in the feature film Romeo and Juliet, directed by Carlo Carlei, playing a cameo role, a noble woman friend of the Capulets. In 2015 she joined the prestigious cast of the Warner Bros. film The Man from U.N.C.L.E. directed by Guy Ritchie, where she plays the Contessa. In the past seven years Simona has been working extensively as a screenwriter and ghost-writer for feature films and TV series in Italy and abroad.
