Agatha All Along is one of the biggest shows of the fall. In terms of hype and excitement, it feels like one of the biggest of Marvel's Disney+ shows since the streaming service launched in 2019.
After fans watched all nine episodes of Agatha All Along, there's going to be a long wait until Agatha All Along season 2 (or whatever iteration that continues this story) hits Disney+. That's the bad news. The good news is two-fold. It sure sounds like Agatha All Along season 2 is going to happen. Disney and Marvel haven't officially confirmed the series will be back, but showrunner Jac Schaeffer sure made it sound like more Agatha is on the way after that incredible season 1 ending and finale, via Marvel.
And, on top of that, we have a lot of good and witchy shows like Agatha All Along while we wait for season 2.
Let's get the list started...

“The Villains of Valley View” has been canceled after two seasons at Disney Channel, according to series co-creator and executive producer Chris Peterson.
“All good things must come to an end… and after two incredible seasons such is the case with ‘The Villains of Valley View,'” Peterson wrote in a statement posted on X Wednesday night. “We’re beyond grateful to our amazing cast, writing staff and crew. We also want to thank all the loyal fans. You made us part of your family and you’ll forever be part of ours.”
Peterson continued, “While it was never our intention to end the series on a cliffhanger, we hope that Amy, Hartley and the Maddens will live on in your hearts (and on Disney+) forever.”
The multi-cam comedy show, which hails from Disney Branded Television, follows a family of supervillains forced to hide their powers and adopt “normalcy” in suburbia.

Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s The Office has been remade once again, this time in Australia. Here’s the trailer.
Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s original version of The Office launched on the BBC in 2001. It introduced the world to boss from hell David Brent (Gervais) as he attempted to look good in front of the cameras documenting his workplace, paper merchants Wernham Hogg, alongside staff including Tim (Martin Freeman) Gareth (Mackenzie Crook) and Dawn (Lucy Davis).
All while trying to stay onside with bullying best mate Chris Finch (Ralph Ineson) and, in the second series, his new boss from the Swindon branch, Neil (Patrick Baladi).
Gervais and Merchant took cringe comedy to the extreme, with Brent becoming a byword for social awkwardness and inappropriate behaviour.

Even though American English comes from across the pond, many discrepancies have risen between the two languages over the years, whether it's the meaning of certain words in different contexts or the pronunciation of words like "herbs" and "aluminum." There are also more amusing cases when words like "fanny" have a much different meaning in the United Kingdom. So when a movie is being imported into the United States from the UK, that can occasionally create some challenges with a film's dialogue, especially if a particular line is intended to be a punchline and the words in question have different meaning in the U.S. That's exactly why Edgar Wright's quintessential horror comedy "Shaun of the Dead" (which is still influencing movies today) had to change just one line for American audiences.

Hollywood actors often have their careers reduced to one major role. Having said that, isn’t it compelling how an iconic character like Batman can bring an actor everlasting fame, but also conceal the breadth of their versatility? Val Kilmer, known widely for donning the dark mask of the Caped Crusader, embodies this paradox with remarkable grace.
Prior to making his breakthrough in the 1980s with roles in comedies such as Real Genius and Top Secret, Val Kilmer began his acting career on stage. The acclaimed sequel to Top Gun, in which he reprised the role of Iceman, has brought him back into the spotlight.

Despite his early breakthrough, Kilmer charted a different course, circling the universe of TV—save for a voice role as Kitt in the Knight Rider reboot and brief stints on shows like Ghost Girls and The Spoils of Babylon.

Here’s another one of my pre-Ronford Film Festival chats. This time with Lisa Soper, the director of the Lucy Davis starring short movie Have a Good Day.
In the bustling home of horror writer Jodi Sloan (Lucy Davis), she battles creative block by exploring gripping ideas, only to discard them in absurd ways. On one particularly uninspired day, Ben, (Eric Johnson) her overly optimistic mailman interrupts her solitary routine delivering not only her mail but also a cup of tea, eerily tailored to her tastes. Despite Jodi’s discomfort, she engages in awkward yet polite conversation, mirroring the contrived nature of her writing.

Showrunner Greg Daniels’ sequel to hit sitcom The Office has been commissioned for a series at Peacock. Domhnall Gleeson will lead the ensemble cast.
There have been repeated talks of a revival of the American version of The Office revival in the years since it concluded. Given the success of the show, it seemed to be a question not of if, but when. We now have the answer.
Greg Daniels, who developed the American remake and served as showrunner for the majority of its nine seasons, has co-created a sequel series with Michael Konan.
Described as being “set in the same universe” as The Office, the description, via Deadline, reads as follows:
The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch is in search of a new subject when they discover a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters.

It lasts roughly a minute and consists of only a handful of shots (and none of Edgar Wright’s trademark visual wizardry), yet the moment in Shaun Of The Dead when Simon Pegg’s hapless hero and his group of survivors round the corner and bump into another group is possibly the film’s most ambitious gag. Mainly because the other gang is played by a who’s who (then and now) of British comedy: Martin Freeman, Reece Shearsmith, Tamsin Greig, Spaced mainstay Julia Deakin, Matt Lucas and, at the vanguard, Pegg’s Spaced co-creator, Jessica Hynes. A finer cavalcade of cameos, you’ll never see.

‘Fantastic Four’ is set to be the next big movie in the MCU. Just a few days ago, the release date and cast were announced. Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby will be Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach will portray The Thing, and Joseph Quinn will take on the role of the Human Torch. Filming is scheduled to start this summer. Due to a change in the release date, ‘Thunderbolts’ will now come out earlier than expected, on May 2, 2025. Despite the main cast being confirmed, there’s still no news about who the villain might be. While most of the main roles are filled, there are still smaller parts to cast. Rumors suggest that Marvel Studios is looking for a comedian to play the role of H.E.R.B.I.E.

‘Fantastic Four’ is currently the hottest upcoming MCU movie only a few days ago release date and cast were announced, confirming what we’ve known for quite a while. Pedro Pascal will be MCU’s new Reed Richards, with Vanessa Kirby taking on the role of Sue Storm. The Thing and the Human Torch will be played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn respectively.
Filming is expected to begin this summer, and due to the release date being switched, ‘Thunderbolts’ lost its July 2025 spot being moved to release earlier than expected on May 2, 2025. Despite the main cast being confirmed, there was not a speck of news regarding the movie’s possible villain.
And while most of the main cast has been revealed there are plenty of smaller roles that are yet to be filled and recently according to rumors Marvel Studios expressed the desire for a comedia to play a role of H.

Nothing gold can stay, and to make room for everything new at Hulu in November, we have to say goodbye to dozens of the series and movies on the platform. The streamer will make room for its upcoming Christmas library by losing some of its horror-themed titles throughout the month, including “Stephen King's It,” most of its “Saw” franchise, and “Shaun Of The Dead.” Other major titles leaving the platform include Emma Stone’s breakthrough comedy “Easy A,” the Nora Ephron classic “Sleeping in Seattle,” and more.

This post contains spoilers for the "Ted Lasso" season 3 finale.
Seemingly knowing its place alongside some of the most popular comedy shows the zeitgeist has ever seen, the "Ted Lasso" season finale made sure to reference another one. If you're a fan of "The Office" — the original or the American remake — you probably spotted some of these connections.
Let's start with the final nod to both a classic rom-com trope and to another great sitcom finale: Ted and Rebecca's goodbye at the airport. It's similar to the one Jenna Fischer's Pam has with Steve Carrell's Michael Scott in the series finale of the U.S. version of "The Office." Rebecca surprises Ted there much like Pam does to Michael, but this time the audience is privy to their conversation in a way they were not with Pam and Michael. Just before seeing Pam, Michael took his microphone off for the last time.

[This story contains spoilers for “Signs,” the fifth episode of Ted Lasso’s third season.]
During a press day for Ted Lasso’s third season, The Hollywood Reporter asked co-creator, executive producer and actor Brendan Hunt about whether Richmond’s honeymoon period with superstar Zava (Maximilian Osinski) would wear off.
Hunt’s answer: “I mean, you’ve seen the show before. You know how it goes.”
In “Signs,” the show’s fifth episode of season three, it went. Or rather, he went: After firing up the team before a match with powerhouse Manchester City — by basically repeating the same idea Jamie (Phil Dunster) offered up moments before — Zava no-shows for the match. (“Maybe he’s dead,” Ted muses on the sideline. “He fucking better be,” Roy growls.) He later explains to his social media followers — ahem, “believers” — that he’s retiring to focus solely on his family and his avocado farm.

The move is a reunion of sorts for Taylor and Donkis, as both worked closely together at Prime, a boutique firm run by Donkis and Joy Fehily, which was absorbed by Pmk-bnc in 2016.
“Rebecca is one of the smartest, hardest working, ethical and caring publicists I’ve worked alongside,” Donkis tells Deadline. “She has a sterling reputation and is a perfect fit for Aloft. While I’ve enjoyed calling her ‘friend’ for some time, I’m very excited to now call her ‘partner’ as well.”

Netflix has apologized following backlash at a tweet shared by Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's official Twitter account.
The tweet – which has since been deleted – included behind-the-scenes images of the Sabrina cast covered in fake blood.
The caption on the post read: "Sunday bloody Sunday."
Bloody Sunday refers to the Bogside Massacre of 1972, in which 14 people were shot and killed by British soldiers during a protest in Derry, Northern Ireland.
Followers quickly hit out at the Twitter account because of the way the post was worded, prompting Netflix to swiftly delete the offending post.
“I think at least someone behind this account should perhaps look at the replies and maybe Google ‘Bloody Sunday’,” another added.
“Please take a minute to read your caption, then put it into google. Then apologise to your Irish fans and anyone who was affected by the atrocities,” wrote another user in the comments section.
“Apologise for joking about bloody sunday,...

The official Twitter page for Netflix’s supernatural teen drama Chilling Adventures of Sabrina came under fire this past weekend after posting what many judged to be a wholly insensitive tweet. On Sunday, January 10th, the Caos social media account shared a batch of behind-the-scenes pics of the show’s stars – namely, Kiernan Shipka (Sabrina Spellman), Jaz Sinclair (Roz Walker), Gavin Leatherwood (Nick Scratch), Miranda Otto (Zelda) and Lucy Davis (Hilda) – splattered with fake blood. The caption read: “Sunday bloody Sunday.”
That might seem innocent at first glance, but the tweet soon incurred backlash from users who felt the pun was in poor taste. You see, it was likely referencing classic U2 song “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” which was written about the atrocious Bloody Sunday massacre that took place in Derry, Northern Ireland in 1972, at the height of the civil unrest in the country during that period. Understandably, many didn’t...
