- Witnessed the Berlin wall come crashing down along with fellow acting pal William Forsythe.
- Lived in the Catalan coast town of Vilassar de Mar from 1973 to 1977, where he learned to speak Catalan. He worked as a tourist guide in the Costa Brava.

- Andrew Divoff appears as a post-plastic-surgery "Karakurt" in a few episodes of The Blacklist (2013). While he does not act until a later episode, his likeness first appears on the show in a photograph shown in episode The Djinn (No. 43) (2015). This is intriguing because one of Andrew's most well known roles features him playing "The Djinn" in Wishmaster (1997) (he also continued the role in Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies (1999)).
