Kathleen's passion has always been theatre. She is one of the co-founders of The Open Fist Theatre Company in Los Angeles; creating provocative theatre with like-minded artists. She has produced, directed, and performed with The Los Angeles Women's Shakespeare Company, The Evidence Room, Workshop 360, and The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Her performances have won her Back Stage West and LA Weekly nominations for leading roles in the Los Angeles Theatre area: Petra in The Bitter Tears of Petra Van Kant, Dusa in Dusa, Fish, Stas and Vi, Maya in Blood Moon. At Malibu Stages, she performed leading roles as Patty in Kimberly Akimbo, starring Katherine Ross and as Veronica in God of Carnage, with A. Martinez.
While performing in theatre, Kathleen developed her skills coaching actors in speech work and dialect acquisition. She currently works as a professional speech and dialects coach in TV and Film and has two certifications in Voice and Movement training from the Lessac Institute and Phonetics Certification under Louis Colaianni.
