Carlos East Jr.
- Actor
- Costume and Wardrobe Department
Carlos East was bit by the acting bug almost at conception; his father
Carlos East Sr., was an actor of stage, television and film, sharing
screen credits with the likes of Lana Turner, Boris Karloff, and Karl
Malden. Carlos East began his career, alongside his identical twin
brother Ernesto, in his native Mexico at the tender age of two, and by
age 13 he had participated in more than 10 different films. In 1999 he
was selected from thousands of hopefuls to take part in one of the most
renowned acting schools in Mexico, El CEFAC (Centro de Formacion
Actoral de Mexico). He has since appeared, as part of the lead cast, in
a number of successful Telenovelas (Hispanic Soap Operas) El Amor No Es
Como Lo Pintan, Como en el Cine, La Hija Del Jardinero, and Tierra De
Pasiones. Along with his love of acting, Carlos shares a passion for
art. He designs, collectible and limited edition, toy art. East has
developed and designed art campaigns for many prestigious labels such
as Bacardi, Vans, Headquarters, Kid Robot, and Nike. For his next
project he will donate art to Amigos Together For Kids, an organization
that assists abused and abandoned children. This multi-talented young
man, a cross between a Leonardo DiCaprio and a young Jude Law, has set
his sights on Hollywood and is ready to take on the Silver
Screen.
