It seems like celebrities constantly try and outdo each other on Halloween every year, but nobody (and we mean nobody, not even costume queen Heidi Klum) can top what Bette Midler did in 2016. The legendary actress showed up at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City to suck the lives out of little children. Well, not really. Bette, who is the founder of the New York Restoration Project, was on hand to attend the organization's Hulaween Bash. She dusted off her broom to go as her beloved Hocus Pocus character Winifred Sanderson, making it seem like no time has passed since a virgin lit the black flame candle back in 1993. In addition to posing with fellow attendees Kathy Griffin and Marc Jacobs (yep, that's him in the bikini costume), Bette also linked up with her daughter, Sophie von Haselberg, and brought back some of Winifred's signature poses. And her costume...

Congratulations of sorts are in order for Teen Mom trainwrecks Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley, who have proven definitively that while stars really can be like us, it's not so easy to pull off the other way around. But that didn't stop the D-list reality duo from trying their hardest to join the A-list by getting all dolled up and strolling a pre-Oscars red carpet. Problem was, they did it not in front of the Kodak Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, but at a movie theater in Hamilton, Ind. Even Kathy Griffin would think twice about accepting that invite. Though, in fairness, they did pull one bona fide star move… They remembered the little people. "They posed for pictures with fans...

I love that Aaron Ashmore is joining one of our favorite shows, Warehouse 13. I do find it frustrating that I have trouble being certain that images of him aren’t his twin brother. And I find it refreshing to have out show runner Jack Kenny describe what Ashmore brings to the table, “He's charming, sexy, a terrific actor, willing to try to do anything and excited about what we're all doing together. And there's something that the camera sees in his eyes -- they absolutely pierce through you! Very disarming.”

Former Rdf USA CEO Chris Coelen is putting in motion Kinetic Content.
Coelen is launching the production company, which will focus on the development and production of unscripted series.
He has started to assemble Kinetic's creative team, bringing in three executives he worked with at Rdf -- Jennifer Danska, Gerald Massimei and Katie Griffin -- and hiring former "Dancing With the Stars" co-exec producer Matilda Zoltowski.
Zoltowski and Danska will serve as senior vp development and current series, respectively. Massimei has been named vp development and current, and Griffin is manager of development.
Coelen is still hiring and expects to end up with a team of 8-10 creative execs.
For now, he is financing the enterprise himself but said he's fielding offers from potential strategic partners and planning to form alliances, especially on the international side, and establish ties in the branded entertainment space.
