As time went on, Dtva was able to use its limited rights to create shows like “DuckTales” and “Tale Spin,” which featured Disney characters. Today, the slate has evolved to include shows that travel across Disney’s streaming, linear and digital platforms, including Disney+, Disney Channel, Disney Xd, Disney Junior and Disney Channel YouTube. We all know Clarissa Explains It All. We all love Clarissa Explains It All. But do we know why it was such an awesome, realistic, so-perfectly-'90s TV show? That's easy: The Doc Martens, the chokers, the pet alligator, the science experiments. The list could go on and on. But truly, it's because Clarissa Darling was somebody who was just so incredibly real and easy to look up to. And while that was the ultimate goal of the show's creators, to build a heroine who wasn't a walking stereotype of femininity, it turns out that there were some behind-the-scenes dealings that led to Clarissa's refreshing qualities, too. E! News spoke with Emily Hart—yes, that would be...

Carley's 90s kids TV look-back comes to a Melissa Joan Hart classic, Sabrina The Teenage Witch...
“Sabrina, we have something to tell you. You see there are two realms, the natural and the supernatural and it turns out the immutable laws of physics...You’re a witch”
1996 saw a revival of big action, big budget movies taking the top spots at the box office (Independence Day, Twister, Mission: Impossible and The Rock), the Spice Girls making their mark on the UK pop charts as another, Take That, decided to call it a day.
In the September of that year, ABC began to air a supernatural sitcom which would go on for seven seasons, span a series of merchandise and introduce the TV world's best talking cat ever.

Sundance is abuzz with the performance of Elizabeth Olsen, who apparently fell out of the same vagina that hatched the Olsen twins. Looks like she took all the talent with her too. But it got me thinking about other showbiz families and what I like to call the Roberts Dichotomy. Namely, Eric and Julia. Both actors, both born of the same genes, and yet, one opens wide her gaping maw and makes gabillions while the other's busy doing B-movies and birthing bigger child stars.
Thing is, I love Eric Roberts. I'll watch The Best of the Best pretty much every time it's on. It's like Rocky for sad lonely kickboxers. It's just strange that Julia gets all the accolades. And so started up a list of other semi-talented siblings overshadowed by the crazy successful brethren/sistern.
Fun Fact: Nicolas Cage, Sofia Coppola, and Jason Schwartzmann are all first cousins. Jason's mother is Talia Shire.
