Hassan Hassandoost was raised in Tehran, Iran. He graduated at The
Editing School of Cinema and TV in Tehran in 1979. He has edited most
of the 200 documentaries at the Iran Television from 1980 to 1988. He
has edited more than 35 feature iranian films from 1988 to 2000. He has
worked with famous directors such as Darius Mehrjui, Majid Majidi,
Mohammed Talebi, Ali Hatami and Rafi Pitts. Recently he has edited
Majid Majidi's Oscar Academy Award nominee "Children of Heaven" as well
as the internationnaly acclaimed "The Color of Paradise", both the most
successful iranian films in the USA ever.
