Jack Hively was born on 5 September 1910. He was a director and editor, known for They Made Her a Spy (1939), The Saint's Double Trouble (1940) and They Met in Argentina (1941). He died on 19 December 1995 in Hollywood, California, USA.

Journeyman B-movie director, at RKO and Universal in the 1940&#39;s. Served in the Army Signals Corps during World War II, rising to the rank of major.

Son of writer/editor <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0387000/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">George Hively</a>.

Worked with <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0639454/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Brendan O&#39;Brien</a> on Air force training films at Norton, March, and
Edwards Air Force bases.
