Food Network thinks show is 'Delicioso'
NEW YORK -- Food Network said Thursday that it had picked up Simply Delicioso, a Latin-themed cooking show, for a second season.
The Miami-based show hosted by Ingrid Hoffmann premiered July 14 in the channel's In The Kitchen weekend cooking block. It will get another 13-episode order.
Hoffman's first season was dedicated to bringing Latin touches to American traditions like picnics, barbecues and Sunday dinners, among others.
Hoffman, who opened boutiques in Florida and Aruba as well as Rocca, a restaurant that offers tabletop cooking on heated lava rocks. She started a cooking segment on local TV and Miami, moved to DirecTV in 2005 and then a year later got a show on Univision/Galavision and also does regular cooking segments on Univison's morning show.
