Daughter of Zoran Stojanovic, a surveying engineer, and wife Milena "Mila", the managing director for several import/export companies, her aunt Jelisaveta 'Seka' Sablic being a famous Serbian actress. Together with her brother, Nebojsa Stojanovic, she produced and starred in her first short film, Porcelain: Proof of Concept.

Supports many charity organizations like St. Jude's Hospital, Peace Against Violence, Amnesty International and Bosana Foundation, among others.

Studied theater with renowned teachers Larry Moss, Jean-Louis Rodrigue and Kristof Konrad.

Was one of the finalists considered for the role of Miranda Frost (ultimately played by Rosamund Pike) in Die Another Day (2002).
