[The following story includes spoilers for Minx season two.]
In the second season of Minx, Idara Victor’s Tina and Oscar Montoya’s Richie have not only gotten expanded storylines but also a tighter relationship.
It’s a noticeable screen time pivot for the duo, who frequently found themselves on opposite sides of the Bottom Dollar coin during the show’s first season. That hasn’t quite changed in season two, but as Joyce (Ophelia Lovibond) and Doug (Jake Johnson) seemingly move farther apart with the presence of Minx‘s new wealthy investor Constance Papadopoulos (Elizabeth Perkins), the business-minded Tina and artistic-minded Richie have come to find solace in one another amid the chaos.
And much in line with the second season’s theme of “getting bigger” and “going harder,” in the first six episodes of the Starz show’s second run, viewers have been given substantial looks at both Oscar and Tina’s home lives,...

ABC is passing on its pilots.
The network has passed on Anthony Anderson-fronted Public Defenders and Ellie Kemper-led Keeping It Together, which is a remake of British comedy Motherland, as well as dramas The Hurt Unit, starring Melissa George and Ben McKenzie, and Judgement starring Sex/Life’s Sarah Shahi.
ABC Signature is, however, planning to shop The Hurt Unit to other networks and platforms, while 20th Television will be shopping Public Defenders and Judgement.
The move comes as it still has decisions to make on series Home Economics and The Rookie: Feds as well as The Good Lawyer, which was a backdoor pilot spinoff of The Good Doctor.
Last month, ABC handed a series order to Drew Goddard’s pilot High Potential, starring Kaitlin Olson. The project, which is based on the popular French detective series Hip, was the clear front-runner all development season.

Written and executive produced by Falco, Judgement is a high-stakes legal soap that redefines the genre by playing out over two timelines. Fifteen years from now, a woman (Shahi) being vetted for a Supreme Court seat recounts her experience at a prominent D.C. law firm in 2023, where the only thing more controversial than the cases was her messy love life, caught between two feuding brothers. Now, with a Supreme Court seat on the line, all of her darkest secrets are at risk of coming out, threatening her nomination, her reputation and her marriage.

This one is formerly known as The Uncanny. Rlje Films has posted this trailer for an indie horror thriller titled They Live in the Grey, which already premiered on Shudder earlier this year. We're just catching up with this one now as they prepare for a VOD / DVD release this summer. The story follows Claire who, while investigating a child abuse case, discovers that the family is being tormented by a supernatural entity. In order to save the family, she must confront her own fears and use her emerging clairvoyance to stop the malevolent force. The film stars Michelle Krusiec, Ken Kirby, and Madelyn Grace. It didn't get great reviews, but it still looks chilling. "The film's title is a brilliant play on the turmoil both the living and dead undergo during the two-hour runtime." This trailer doesn't show much, but better than showing too much. Here's the official trailer...

They Live in the Grey opens on an ominous note as Claire, depressed by the death of her young son and the subsequent death of her marriage, attempts to hang herself. She’s also begun seeing ghosts, frequently violent and angry ones which results in her sleeping in a closet for safety.
As if this isn’t troubling enough she works for Child Protective Services dealing with cases of abuse. She’s been assigned to the case of Sophie whose parents are suspected of beating her. On her first meeting with the family she sees signs of a supernatural presence in the house. She feels the ghost may be to blame for the girl’s bruises but she can’t exactly tell her boss, who is already pressuring her to close the case,...

Abel and Burlee Vang offer a satisfying, troubling portrait of motherhood gone wrong to go with the lashings of gore
They Live in the Grey is another classy effort on the Shudder streaming platform, properly scary and thoughtfully constructed, with unusual editing and framing sleights of hand, co-directed by Hmong-American brothers Abel and Burlee Vang. But Grey also serves an emotionally devastating study of grief, one anchored by a wrenching lead performance from Michelle Krusiec, who plays a social worker Claire Yang. Claire is assigned to investigate a case of possible domestic abuse involving a pre-adolescent girl named Sophie (Madelyn Grace) living in a tense home with parents Audrey and Arthur (Bernard Bullen); Claire starts to see the ghost (Mercedes Manning) of a woman whose poltergeisting may be the cause of Sophie’s bruises. Queer filmmaker and social media star Brian Jordan Alvarez has released a trailer for this next feature-length project, the satire “A Spy Movie.”
The film is written and directed by Alvarez’s frequent collaborator and “The Flight Attendant” actor Stephanie Koenig. She and Alvarez lead an ensemble of mainstays from his past work — notably the resonant YouTube series “The Gay and Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo” and the delirious adventure “Grandmother’s Gold.”
While Alvarez has appeared in commercial work like the “Will & Grace” reboot and the Netflix series “Special,” he made and keeps his name in digital culture. Last November, Alvarez went viral simply for nailing an Australian accent.
No stranger to an underwear selfie, his absurdist comedy is rooted in contemporary queer narratives. “Caleb Gallo” was widely disseminated in show business thanks to its accurate depiction of the young artistic hustle and for showcasing a particular brand...

Ken Kirby is ready to jump into the soapy prime time drama of Dynasty. The Good Trouble actor is set to recur on the CW reboot of the iconic series in the role of Evan Tate, Trixie’s (Jessi Goei) older brother. And as we all know, Trixie is Fallon’s (Elizabeth Gillies) friend who died ten years ago and whose body was pulled from the lake in the season finale.
Kirby’s casting is refreshing in a time when Dynasty has seen a slew of changes in its casting during the first two seasons. The lead role of Cristal went through two changes. The first time Ana Brenda Contreras replaced original star Nathalie Kelley after the end of Season 1. And recently, Contreras was replaced by Daniella Alonso as the series headed into Season 3. In addition, Elizabeth Gillies recently took over the role of Alexis from Nicollette Sheridan. And original...

You didn't think you saw the last of the Adams-Foster mamas, now did you?
If you are still missing Stef and Lena with your entire beings, then Good Trouble Season 1 Episode 5 should have you super excited!
Teri Polo and Sherri Saum are guest-starring during the installment. Yay!
Mariana and Callie have not been the most open with their mothers about their experiences in La, so far.
They don't want to worry them, but Stef and Lena are nothing if not intuitive, so it's only a matter of time before they pick up on a few things when they visit.

From the promo, it looks as though their visit is a surprise. There is nothing like a surprise visit from your parents, right?

Good Trouble, The Fosters spinoff, has already been hailed as one of the hottest new shows of the year.
It merges the familiar with the unknown as fans follow Callie and Mariana Adams - Foster into their next stage of life as 20-something-year-olds just trying to navigate the world and figure life out. As a result, their journeys have resonated with a broad audience right out of the gate.
A significant portion of Callie's storyline plays out like a legal drama as she enters the cutthroat and competitive world of law clerkship with colleagues and a judge whom she doesn't always agree.
One of her competitive fellow clerks is Ben, who on Good Trouble Season 1 Episode 4, discovered Callie's secret connection to Malika and may very well hold Callie's future as a clerk and a lawyer in the palm of his hand.
