- Lost out on jobs in "Braveheart" , and "First Knight" , as was unable to get the time off from the theatre contract he was working on.
- Previously had a job training staff in cocktail bars.
- Is an active fund -raiser for cancer and m/s charities , having lost friends to both diseases.

Favourite directors include , Martin scorsese, Steven Spielberg , Christopher Nolan , Guy Ritchie.
