Nancy J. Lilley has been a working film actress in Vancouver for 36 years. Most recently she originated, directed, produced and wrote the lyrics for 3 original songs for the award-winning feature documentary, "4 Dancers' Dreams". It had it's World Premiere at the Hollywood Dreamz International Film Festival in Las Vegas, August, 2017. Since then it has won Best Feature Documentary from Creation International Film Festival in Ottawa, Ont., Flathead Lake International CInemafest, in Polson, MT, USA, and Awards of Merit for Documentary Feature, Narration/Voice-Over Talent (Nancy J Lilley) and Awards of Recognition for Editing, Direction (Nancy J Lilley), Ensemble Cast, and Cinematography from ImpactDOCS Awards and an Award of Recognition from The IndieFEST for Documentary Feature. It just was selected for an Official Screening at The Artemis International Women In Action Film Festival in LA., April 26-29, 2018.
Nancy also wrote, directed and produced as well as acted, wrote lyrics for and sang in three award-winning short films. They are, in the order she made them, "The Messy Lie", "Friends and Fools" and "Tattle Tale Hero". Besides her film work Nancy has also written and produced two original musicals for Vancouver's Fringe Festival, written, produced and sung on her own lullaby CD called "A Whisper and a Sigh". She also wrote and performed a Children's Musical Show for Blue Mountain Music Festival.
Nancy's film and TV credits include stunt work in The Exorcist Ep.206, Green Beret's Guide to Surviving the Apocalypse Ep. 107, and Stunt/Actor in Shut Eye, Ep.110 with acting and principal roles in Supernatural (EP #709 & 511), Fringe (EP #401),The Marilyn Movie,Eureka(Ep#2006), Fantastic Four II, Numb, Totally Awesome, John Tucker Must Die, A Wrinkle in Time, Snow Queen, American Bandstand, Guide to Becoming a Rock Star, Baby Genius II, Hellseeker-Hellraiser, Saving Silverman, Suicided, Every Mother's Worst Fear, Millennium, X-Files,and City of Fear. Other stunt performer roles include Farewell Atlantis (FF), Revolution(pilot), Stargate SG-I, Scary Movie IV, X-Men III, Deadlocked, Snow Queen, It's True, Deep Rising, Panic in the Skies and Sliders.
