General Hospital (Gh) spoilers tease that the 4th of July continued into this week on General Hospital. As the fireworks lit up the sky, a couple set of Port Charles residents made fireworks of their own, although in quite different way.
First of all, there was the kiss between Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Matheson) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) that’s sure to cause lots of drama in the coming weeks.
But down in the stables of the Quartermaine mansion, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) made a stunning confession to Mac Scorpio (John J York).
General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell could have inherited millions of dollars
As viewers know, when Cody first came to town, Mac believed that Cody could possibly be his son. Cody’s mother Dominique Baldwin (Shell Danielson) was involved with both Mac and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner).

General Hospital spoilers tease that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) hasn’t been able to muster up the courage to tell Mac Scorpio (John J York) the truth about their true connection.
When Cody first arrived in Port Charles, he was a bit of a grifter. He believed he had claim to a necklace made from parts of the Ice Princess as the son of Leopald Taub (Chip Lucia), the last known owner of the necklace.
So when Mac suspected that Cody might be his son, Cody agreed reluctantly to a DNA test. But Cody lied to Mac and said they weren’t related.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sasha Gilmore To The Rescue!
Later, Mac’s wife Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) had a second test done but Cody’s good friend Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) learned of Felicia’s plan and replaced Cody’s sample with hers.

General Hospital spoilers squeal Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is back in action, and Gh fans couldn’t be happier. But we’re eager to get this show on the road when it comes to him finding out that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is his father.
Of course, some fans are theorizing that Mac may already be onto Cody’s big fat lie, and he’s just as awkwardly trying to figure out the right way to let the cat out of the bag.
Does he believe Cody has been lying to him? Is he wondering whether the DNA test got it wrong somehow, like a lab error?
Just how long will these two buddy up and continue to be pals before one of them has the nerve to confront the truth that has been sandwiched between them all of this time?

General Hospital predictions suspect Cody Bell may spill his big secret soon causing a massive fallout on the ABC soap opera.
Cody Bell’s Big Lie on General Hospital
A while back on Gh, Mac Scorpio thought Cody Bell might be his son. So, they did a paternity test. However, Cody was hoping Leopold Taub was his biological father because he was filthy rich. Back then, he was new to Port Charles and looking for a quick payoff.
He was hoping to inherit the Ice Princess necklace that belonged to Leopold. So, when the paternity results came in, he lied to Mac and his wife, Felicia Scorpio, saying that Mac was not his father. The Pcpd Detective took Cody as his word and didn’t read the results for himself.

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers spill Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) has been pushing for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to tell Mac Scorpio (John J. York) the truth about their father-son connection since the moment she learned he had actually lied about it.
Sasha has stuck by Cody throughout this process, gently encouraging him to come clean along the way.
She wants him to have the father she thinks he deserves, and she can’t imagine that Mac and his family won’t embrace Cody just as soon as the dust settles from his not-so-little white lie. Is she right though? That’s the anxiety that is eating Cody alive and holding him back from telling the truth.
General Hospital Spoilers — This Is One Forgiving Family
The Scorpio-Jones clan is a force to be reckoned with. They love each other, and they readily welcome anyone into the fold who can equally respect all of them.

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, June 19 tease surprise reunions, embarrassed confessions and big news!
Next On General Hospital
Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) answers the door to a surprise reunion, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) makes some embarrassed confessions and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has big news!
What, You Worry?
At the Metro Court pool Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) talks to Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Massa) and she can’t quite believe her ears; she’s incredulous as she repeats it back.
Josslyn wants to make sure she’s understanding Gio correctly as she asks “So you’re worried about taking advantage of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)”!
That does seem odd, considering Gio’s living at the Quartermaine mansion, not living with Sonny.
He’s certainly not living in one of Sonny’s safe houses around town. Why he’d think he is taking advantage of Sonny is definitely a puzzler!

‘General Hospital’ (Gh) spoilers suggest that Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattson) is good for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) for several reasons. Since Cody met Sasha, he’s become a better man.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cody Lied About Mac Not Being His Father
He’s come a long way since he first came to the show. When he met Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), he pretended to be Leopold Taub’s (Chip Lucia) son so he could get his hands on his necklace, which Britt inherited from Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
The necklace contained four diamonds from the Ice Princess worth 35 million dollars. Mac Scorpio (John J. York) thought Cody might be his son with Dominique Baldwin (Shell Danielson), and Mac convinced him to take a paternity test.
Cody stood to lose a fortune, so he lied about the results and always regretted it. Later, Cody believed he couldn’t tell the truth...

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers tease that after a several month absence overseas, Mac Scorpio (John J York) is due to return to Port Charles.
When he left, his relationship with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) was friendly even though Mac believed that DNA testing ruled him out as Cody’s father.
But what Mac doesn’t know is that Cody altered the DNA test because he was in line to inherit a significant sum if he was the heir of Leopald Taub (Chip Lucia). Later, he kept quiet because he believed he wasn’t worthy of being Mac’s son.
General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell Has Revealed The Truth To Sasha Gilmore
Cody was quite conflicted about his decision and confided in both Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofa Mattsson).
While both Dante and Sasha encouraged Cody to come clean, they agreed that the choice to reveal the truth is Cody’s alone.

It wasn’t until the first few years of the ’90s that the 1989 film Society found its way onto my radar because of the twenty-something video store clerk, who carried a copy of the latest Fangoria magazine rolled into his back pocket, who would slip rated-r films my way without my parents’ consent. It was always in his “Employee Picks” section, most often already rented with only the lone slipcase left for my young mind to try and piece together what this film could be about. But the video store guru, who introduced me to horror films like Don’t Look Now and The Changeling, loaned me his personal copy of the film and, after getting a large pizza and a one-liter of Dr. Pepper, I took it straight home.
I still remember that evening as vividly as I remember my first kiss, the horror movie I snuck into after...

So you’re wading through piles of slasher films from the ‘80s, keen on discovering a lost gem far removed from the normal gang in the woods or high school sis-boom-bah stab and gab. You’re thinking maybe a different setting will yield a fresh take, already tired tropes blurring your vision and making the distinction between a hockey mask and a fencing one harder by the day. Well…have you tried the hospital yet? Most folks are terrified of the antiseptic halls and robotic empathy doled out by uncaring staff. (Yes, yes, they also save lives, I know. I’m trying to set a mood, dammit.) And if you do decide to enter the medical field, I strongly suggest you pay a visit to Hospital Massacre (1981), Israeli King of Schlock Boaz Davidson’s wild attempt at a horror comedy, where some of the humor is even intentional.

As a kid who grew up in the video store there were a few staples in my cinematic diet – none more so than the VHS releases from Imperial and Trans World Entertainment. From chop-socky flicks featuring an incredibly young Jackie Chan, to the ninja films of Sho Kosugi, I could not get enough of the Far East fight action. However the death of VHS also saw the death of those types of films being freely available here in the UK. Sure you can go down the import route (which I did for a number of those dear-to-my-heart action movies of the early 80s) but there’s nothing quite like walking into a store and picking...

Written By: Marc Behm & Boaz Davidson
Starring: Barbi Benton (Susan Jeremy), Charles Lucia (Harry), Jon Van Ness (Jack), John Warner Williams (Dr. Saxon), Den Surles (Dr. Beam), Gloria Jean Morrison (Nurse Dora), Karen Smith (Nurse Kitty), Michael Frost (Ned), Jimmy Stathis (Tom), Lanny Duncan (Hal), Marian Beeler (Mrs. Edelman), Elly Wolf (Mrs. Fedrow), Jonathon Moore (Mrs. Parry), Gay Austin (Dr. Jacobs)
In the early 1980s, slashers were coming and going as fast as they were made. When I saw this was going to be a slasher that is based in a hospital setting, my initial reaction was, “Is this going to be a rip off of Halloween II?” Thankfully this movie, despite some faults, was much better than I gave it credit for. Brian Yuzna, a name I am very familiar with. You see Re-Animator is my all time favourite horror film, and Yuzna served as producer and he then went on to direct the two sequels. I have seen a lot of his other films, but one that really flew under the radar was Society.
A friend had brought it to my attention and I looked it up and was surprised to find it was Yuzna’s directorial debut. But the more I read and saw from it, the more I was hesitant to watch it, I thought it perhaps it was too disgusting for me sit through. Crazy for me to say because I can sit through anything; but I built all this up in my head. I then made the decision to grow a pair and watch it for my 31 days, no backing out if it was on the list.
