Kerrie Mainwaring has a wealth of experience across the drama industry,
having worked on a long list of award-winning Australian drama series.
In 2012 Kerrie moved to Shine Australia to produce Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story of INXS for Channel Seven, and "having grown up on the Northern Beaches and attended numerous INXS pub gigs, I was thrilled to be asked to join Shine Australia, to produce INXS" She is currently producing Catching Milat, a two-part telemovie recounting the investigation that led to the arrest of serial killer Ivan Milat.
Prior to Shine, Kerrie was Head of Production - Drama at Southern Star, where she oversaw production on dramas including Rush, Beaconsfield, Howzat - Kerry Packer's War, Puberty Blues, Paper Giants: Magazine Wars and Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo all for John Edwards Southern Star. Other Southern Star productions include Rescue Special Ops, Wild Boys and the telemovie Dripping in Chocolate, produced by Julie McGauran and Sarah Smith.
Kerrie's line producing credits read like the hall of fame of Australian series drama listing, Puberty Blues, Paper Giants: the Birth of Cleo, Paper Giants: Magazine Wars, East West 101, Rake, Spirited, Rescue Special Op, Wild Boys, The Strip, Rogue Nation, Dangerous, Grass Roots and White Collar Blue. She was also line producer on telemovies The Informant, The Falls and Small Claims, Second Chance for Network Ten, The Silence for the ABC and Dripping In Chocolate for UK TV.
