Kelly Makin is an Award Winning Film and Television Director best known for his work with THE KIDS IN THE HALL, helming all three incarnations of their TV series as well as their critically acclaimed feature film BRAIN CANDY. He is also known for the international megahits VIKINGS and FLASHPOINT, the Hugh Grant feature MICKEY BLUE EYES and the groundbreaking LGBTQ+ drama QUEER AS FOLK.
Kelly Makin has the distinction of being the only director to have ever won a Gemini (Canadian Screen Award) in both Drama and Comedy in the same year for FLASHPOINT and LESS THAN KIND.
