He went on to direct comedy drama including The Grimleys with Amanda Holden, and Kay Mellor's Playing the Field for ITV.
His commercials career took off after he wrote and directed a spot for MTV featuring two guys dancing around their bedroom in their underpants. It went onto win multiple awards including two D&AD's and set the tone for a host of commercials featuring comedy and dance (occasionally together) as well as rebranding BBC One with 16 idents featuring all forms of dance and movement from Skateboarding to Bollywood.
Dynamic, intimate, stylistically beautiful, and conceptually cutting-edge, his commercial work moves easily between performance and dance, comedy and beauty. He's worked with some of the biggest names in the world of film and fashion including: Idris Elba, Kate Hudson, Keanu Reeves, Sacha Baron Cohen and Karlie Kloss.
He's at home working all over the world - speaks French and Spanish - and has directed spots for Nike, Sony, Canon, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Alfa Romeo and Louis Vuitton. His commercial work has been frequently honoured with awards from D&AD, BTA, Promax, Epica, and Effie.
In recent years, he has become known as one of the foremost directors of choreography. His work with superstar dancers such as Lil Buck, Keone and Mari, Marianela Nunez and Lauren Cuthbertson has brought him a raft of awards and tens of millions of views online. His dance films have been exhibited everywhere from giant screens in South Korea to art galleries in New York.
His passion for working with actors has most recently led to him writing and directing two beautifully crafted narrative shorts, that have played at over 50 festivals, won multiple awards, and both been distributed internationally.
