Bob Merrick dove head first into Hollywood over 25 years ago, working behind the scenes on such films as Wild Wild West, Deep Impact, Cast Away, What Lies Beneath, Three Kings, 13 Going on 30, Rent, Across The Universe, Iron Man 3, Ant-Man and the Wasp and most recently, Sweet Magnolias for Netflix Studios.

In 2005, he wrote a bi-weekly column called Love Handles for Out, chronicling his struggles with body image and finding love. Additionally, he wrote celebrity interviews and entertainment features that were published in the magazine.

For 6 years, he hosted The Baub Show, a live podcast broadcast through Universal Broadcasting Network, averaging 30,000 listeners a show and featuring guests like Octavia Spencer, James Franco, Christina Applegate, Fortune Feimster, and Marianne Williamson. In addition to his own weekly show, he could often be heard co-hosting Dirty Pop with Lance Bass on SiriusXM.

Merrick has had notable cameos in Kathy Griffin's My Life On The D-List and VH1's My Fair Brady. Still, it was being a featured dancer in Richard Simmon's iconic DVD series, Sweatin' to the Oldies 5, that he considers a pinnacle of his career... so far...
