- German actor, the son of a chemist. Discovered for films by the director Robert A. Stemmle. Cast in juvenile roles in post-war Defa productions, subsequently also in West German films and on television. He was best known for his starring role in Paul Verhoeven's Das kalte Herz (1950). Moik also provided the German dubbing voice for American actor John Saxon.
