Director Hideo Kojima is renowned for being hardworking and dedicated to his craft. The Japanese game developer is actively working on his next major project and revealed a first look at the main menu. However, the Death Stranding sequel’s menu will not be in the final product, which is a bummer.

It is exciting to see screenshots of what’s to come; however, Kojima’s ever-changing mind proves nothing is permanent. Game development can take a while, especially for a massive production like this and the director has yet to share a release date which gives him enough leeway to do what he wants.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is known for his stints on shows like The Walking Dead and The Boys, having become a household name over the past decade. Before stepping into some of his more popular roles, Morgan played the father of Sam and Dean Winchester in the fantasy drama series Supernatural. While the wayward sons soldered on for fifteen seasons, Morgan’s character was killed off after season 2.

Despite stepping away from the series, Morgan and fans held hope for the Winchester patriarch’s eventual return using some supernatural trickery. The return materialized for the show’s milestone 300th episode. However, Morgan had a very clear clause for his return, which might explain why it took so long for him to reprise the role of John Winchester.

Meg Marinis got hired on Grey’s Anatomy as her first job out of college.
Already a hit for ABC, the medical drama starring Ellen Pompeo as a wide-eyed surgical intern at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital was in its second season, right in the middle of the Denny Duquette storyline, Marinis recalls (a now-iconic show arc between Katherine Heigl and Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
Marinis, who had already been tuning into the drama weekly on Thursday nights, interviewed to be the second assistant to creator Shonda Rhimes. She didn’t get that job. But they were creating a new position, a writer’s Pa, and she got that one instead. “I freaked out because I really liked the show, but I didn’t have any idea what it would become,” she tells The Hollywood Reporter. “A decade ago, I didn’t think I would still be here!”

Entertainment Weekly has revealed that The Boys season 5 has tapped Daveed Diggs for a mystery role in the R-Rated Prime Video series.
The actor is best known for starring in Hamilton (which was already a hit but became a global phenomenon thanks to Disney+) and counts the likes of Snowpiercer, The Little Mermaid, and Velvet Buzzsaw among his many film and television roles.
This isn't the first time he's circled a superhero project as it's widely believed he was a frontrunner to play Ben Grimm/The Thing in Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps. That role ultimately went to Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
Diggs has also lent his voice to Amazon's Invincible as Theo, a member of a therapy group who lost their loved ones to superheroes.
As is so often the case, there's currently no word on who the actor is playing in The Boys. The series veered away from the comics some time ago,...

A new game show is launching at NBC for us travel enthusiasts and they’ve found its new host in the form of ‘Walking Dead’ star Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
The series has promised to be a “larger-than-life” adventure where contestants “embark on the road trip of a lifetime but have no idea of their location.” Truthfully, I see the appeal.

It feels like it's just a matter of time before Eric Kripke's popular Prime Video show "The Boys" turns into a full-blown "Supernatural" cast reunion. Jensen Ackles, star of the latter long-running CW show (also created by Kripke), has already been featured on the cynical superhero drama, playing the season 3 character Soldier Boy. Now, Ackles' co-star Jared Padalecki is officially on board for season 5. The news of the Sam Winchester actor's casting came just a month after Kripke spoke about wanting him on the show, telling Variety in May that "I feel like I have to complete my game of 'Supernatural' Pokémon and I have my one big one — very big one — left to catch."
Fortunately for fans, Padalecki was into the idea. He said as much in an interview with Collider a month earlier, but in the process, he also revealed that he had a certain...

Among all the grueling action flicks he has tamed to date, perhaps the one genre Zack Snyder continues to be best known for is the superhero one. Famous for closely collaborating with the DC Universe to deliver fan-favorite masterpieces like Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel and Zsjl, the filmmaker has fairly cemented his position in the super-verse.

Yet, when it comes to Snyder’s own preferences for the pieces helmed by him that he is proud of, his choices lie on the lesser-appreciated projects of his career. Surprisingly enough, it’s not Cavill’s flick from 2013 that the visionary is most proud of, but rather, his other comic-book-based movie from 2009 that barely managed to make any profits at the box office: Watchmen.

It was the year 2009 when veteran director Zack Snyder decided to test the waters of anti-superheroes with his iconic film Watchmen. Starring Jackie Earle Harley, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Neil Patrick Harris, and other iconic actors, the film was a controversial success.

People often say that the film was way ahead of its time and that is indeed true. The whole no-supes thing that The Boys made mainstream was already written in a DC comic book years before. At least, that’s what Zack Snyder thinks about his movie.

As pre-production on the fifth and final season of Prime Video's The Boys gets underway, we have word on a new Supe who will be joining the party before going on to have a larger role in the recently-announced Vought Rising spin-off show.
According to Nexus Point News, Fyboy will be introduced during season 5. As far as we know, this Supe doesn't appear in the comics, but there are numerous minor and supporting characters he could be based on.
Flyboy is described as: "A white man in his twenties to thirties who was once a charismatic combat pilot, but is now a junkie with a dark past. Although he’s haunted by the trauma of his past, he maintains his confidence in the presence of cameras."
We don't have much more to go on, but if Flyboy is also going to be a part of Vought Rising - which is...

The Boys: Firecracker Actress Valorie Curry Calls Out Fan Who Crossed A Boundary At Recent Comic-Con
The recent fourth season of The Boys saw Homelander recruit two new members of The Seven, one of whom turned out to be alt-right TV host Firecracker: an openly racist, homophobic and all-round nasty customer with an axe to grind against Annie January, aka Starlight (Erin Moriarty).
Over the course of the season, Firecracker finds a way to endear herself to Homelander by taking a course of drugs which allow her to lactate. If you know anything about the seriously messed-up leader of The Seven, you'll no doubt understand why this would be of great interest to him!
Firecracker actress Valorie Curry recently attended Comic-Con Northern Ireland, and while she makes a point of noting that she had a mostly very pleasant experience, she has shared an Instagram video addressing one particularly "uncomfortable" encounter with a fan who crossed a boundary while waiting in line to meet her.

It's been over 20 years since One Tree Hill made its television premiere on The WB and over 10 years since the beloved series came to an end on The CW. Time has only made fans adore the show more and more, and there's finally some good news on the potential future of the series: Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton Morgan are working on a sequel series at Netflix!
Before we get too excited about the prospect of returning to Tree Hill two decades later, it's the perfect time to look back at original cast members and celebrate their generation-defining series. One Tree Hill helped launch the careers of Chad Michael Murray, Hilarie Burton Morgan, Sophia Bush, James Lafferty, and Bethany Joy Lenz, and they're all still beloved today.
If you're diving back into your millionth rewatch of One Tree Hill (no judgment!), you're probably wondering how old the actors were compared to their teen characters.

Remember when "The Walking Dead" was the hot new show on cable? In 2010, the zombie apocalypse series debuted with an engrossing and ambitious supersized premiere. With its gritty, small-scale stories from the end of the world, the Frank Darabont-created series took the world by storm, and continued to hold TV fans in its grip for several high-rated seasons to come. Developed from a long-running comic book series by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore, the show was always destined for big things, but early fans never could've guessed just how big the franchise would ultimately get.
These days, the "Walking Dead" franchise doesn't always pull in headline-grabbing audience numbers, but it does offer a surprising breadth of stories from within the flagship show's universe. With seven shows and counting (not to mention webisodes), the "Walking Dead" property has multiplied itself faster than walkers in a city struck with Wildfire Virus back in the day.

Steven Yeun has a couple of projects lined up for the coming days and has also starred in some recently, including Netflix’s Beef. It’s safe to say that the actor is not missing his The Walking Dead days too much. Glenn Rhee was his breakout role and it ended with the brutal death of the character. Fans were furious at the show for killing him off and even Steven Yeun couldn’t keep his disappointment hidden.

Can you believe it’s been 12 years since One Tree Hill came to an end? This series had us feel all the emotions, and it’s still one that we want to rewatch.
The series itself has become clouded with darkness as secrets about the series have come out. Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton, and Bethany Joy Lenz have all talked about some of the treatment they faced while on the series thanks to showrunner Mark Schwahn.
Admittedly, with the darker past, it made us wonder whether a One Tree Hill revival could ever happen. Well, put it in the right hands, and it can.

Henry Cavill might have moved on from DC after James Gunn’s arrival, but we cannot help but reminisce about his time as Superman every now and then. While the actor was perfect as The Last Son of Krypton, you could say that his casting went to waste as the studio was unable to utilize him as it should have. Henry Cavill was always passionate about Superman, but unfortunately, things were a bit underwhelming, especially when compared to other actors and their characters’ stories.

JoBlo’s own Chris Bumbray has made it clear that he’s a big fan of the 1994 sci-fi action film No Escape, so when he had the chance to speak with legendary producer Gale Anne Hurd recently, he couldn’t let the opportunity to talk to her about the movie go by – and as it turns out, by mentioning No Escape, he opened the door to also discussing how director Martin Campbell got the job to direct the James Bond film GoldenEye, the 1991 made-for-hbo horror noir Cast a Deadly Spell, and the possibility of a Cast a Deadly Spell TV series!
When Bumbray told Hurd that he’s a big fan of No Escape, she confirmed that she loves the movie as well and said, “It was actually my second collaboration with (director) Martin Campbell; the first one was an HBO movie called Cast a Deadly Spell. … I’ve just worked with some amazing people.

Bosnian filmmaker Danis Tanović makes movies all around the world. His 2020 crime thriller The Postcard Killings (2020), starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Famke Janssen, and Cush Jumbo, was shot in Sweden. Triage (2009), which stars Collin Ferrell as a war photographer, shot in Ireland and Spain. He filmed his latest, the comedic drama My Late Summer, in Croatia. But he keeps coming back to Sarajevo.
“It’s the place where I know everybody, where everybody knows me,” Tanović says. “I know every stone of this city.”
Easily Bosnia’s greatest cinema export and to date its only Oscar winner (Tanović’s 2001 debut No Man’s Land, a powerful exploration of the absurdities of war, won the Academy Award for best foreign-language film), Tanović has carved out a unique career by refusing to repeat himself. L’Enfer (2005), his feature follow-up to No Man’s Land, is a family drama adapted from a script by the late Krzysztof Kieślowski and Krzysztof Piesiewicz.

Throughout its 15-season run from 2005 to 2020, Supernatural underwent many changes, which starred Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki in the lead. But unlike other CW shows, which inevitably hit roadblocks creatively after reaching a certain threshold, this wasn’t an issue with Supernatural.
The show’s unique premise allowed the creators to craft beautiful and hilarious episodes on a regular basis, such as season 6’s The French Mistake. Considered by many one of the best episodes in the show, it sees the real-life couple, Padalecki and Genevieve Cortese, at the forefront, whose romance was spoofed in its meta-narrative.

While fans will have to wait until 2025 for the second season of The Walking Dead: Dead City, the cast and crew behind the hit AMC series spilled some secrets behind the upcoming episodes in an exclusive interview with Den of Geek at Comic-Con International 2024 in San Diego.
Longtime Walking Dead character Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan) is still out to rescue her kidnapped son Hershel (Logan Kim), but unable to put her bitter history with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) behind her long enough to work with him. Meanwhile, the survivor factions in the ruins of New York City find themselves on the verge of an escalating war for control of Manhattan.
Much of Dead City is fueled by the contentious dynamic between Maggie and Negan, with the latter finding himself a wanted man by the New Babylon Federation for murdering five people. The first season introduced Perlie Armstrong (Gaius Charles), a...

To quote Billy Butcher, season 4 of The Boys was diabolical. It was nothing like the comic books, and that’s more than okay. Most of the story wouldn’t work in TV show form. Thankfully, showrunner Eric Kripke and the creative team recognized this and made the appropriate changes.
If you’re a fan of the show, the upcoming final season is bittersweet. Unlike Supernatural, it’s doubtful The Boys goes on past season 5. Except for Butcher and Homelander’s fight, all the stories have been told. Plus, there are spinoffs like Gen V, The Boys: Mexico, and possibly more. Deadline reports that Kripke, “hopes to be involved in the expansion of the world, but not as a showrunner.”
The spinoffs aren’t the only things to look forward to. Let's look at what else we know about season 5 of The Boys.

Oi! You! This post contains spoilers for "The Boys."
Season 4 of the hit Prime Video superhero satire series "The Boys" was a pretty rough ride, with some of the show's most depressing and disturbing moments yet. Almost everyone on the team known as "The Boys" had a tough time of things, and no one is in a particularly good place by the end of the season. The Boys' leader, Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), is having an especially difficult go, as he's dying because of his prolonged use of Temp V, which gave him superpowers for awhile but also infected him with a rather violent parasite. That parasite has some pretty unusual side effects, chief among them hallucinations of an important figure from Butcher's past: Joe Kessler (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). The biggest problem with that is that Butcher doesn't realize that Joe is a hallucination for a very long time,...
