- Doc Neeson was born on January 4, 1947 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK. He was an actor and composer, known for Rogue (2007), North Shore (1987) and Spirited (2010). He was married to Kym Moore and Dzintra. He died on June 4, 2014 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

- Singer for the popular Australian pub-rock band The Angels.
- Sung at the 'tour of duty' concert, in Dili, East Timor, with the Living End. Neeson did a stunning rendition of his classic "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again".
- Screen tested for the role of "Javo" in the film Monkey Grip (1982), and according to the director Ken Cameron gave a good performance. But Neeson had to pull out because the Angels were offered an international tour.
- Was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to the performing arts as a singer and songwriter, and to the community, on Australia Day, 26 January 2013.
