- Screenwriter Phil O'Shea is based in London and works in the UK, US, Germany, and France, where he also has a home. Phil wrote and co-directed the feature film Vampire Diary (winner best film Milan International Film Festival and three other major awards). Phil also wrote the horror film Spirit Trap starring Billie Piper and Luke Mably, and the European thriller The Harpist. - Very early in his career Phil O'Shea was invited to attend the inaugural screenwriters' studio where he was mentored by the legendary Writer/Director Sam Fuller. Sam advised Phil to 'never lose his nerve' i.e. don't give up and stick to your guns and write the film you see on the screen.
