There will be a lot of music in Sunday’s Super Bowl Lvi telecast, and no, we’re not talking about the halftime show — rather, the music at the start of the show and throughout the game itself.
John Williams’ “Sunday Night Football” march is expected to open the broadcast. “That’s our theme,” says Super Bowl executive producer Fred Gaudelli. “There’s a grandeur to it, an importance, that lets you know that a big game is about to begin. And there is no bigger game than the Super Bowl.”
But, Gaudelli adds, a great deal of other music will be heard as the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams take to the field, much of it in the tradition of televised sports themes dating back to the 1960s: appropriately muscular music to accompany modern-day gladiators into the arena for battle.

Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for director Ridley Scott’s latest film, All The Money In The World. The film tells the fascinating true story of the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III. The movie has an incredible cast that includes Michelle Williams, Kevin Spacey, Mark Wahlberg, Romain Duris, Charlie Plummer and Timothy Hutton. Here's the synopsis:
The film is based on the book by John Pearson and it looks like Scott and his creative team have made a great looking intense film. I don't know if you've ever heard this story before, but it's pretty crazy! Here's a breakdown of the story:
At 3 a.m. on 10 July 1973, Getty, then age 16, was kidnapped in the Piazza Farnese in Rome. A ransom note was received, demanding $17 million in exchange for his safe return. When that ransom message arrived, some family members suspected the kidnapping was merely a ploy...

Long before Ronald and Reginald Kray were sentenced to prison in 1969, the hardboiled siblings ruled over London’s infamous West End, were they operated a water-tight crime ring out from a high-end club. It was during this time that the Kray twins were feared by all, and held a marked influence over the city’s criminal underbelly. Documented in John Pearson’s acclaimed novel The Progression Of Violence, it proved to be a meteoric rise to infamy followed by the inevitable fall when the pair were caught at the tail-end of the decade.
But for Brian Helgeland’s upcoming crime drama, Legend, Mad Max: Fury Road star Tom Hardy will play both brothers while they were operating on the top of the proverbial food chain.
In preparation for the dual role, the esteemed actor would drop in and out of each character, portraying Ronnie one day before transitioning into Reggie the next.

George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road threw up an intriguing curveball last month when it essentially relegated Tom Hardy’s protagonist to be a sidekick in his own movie, shifting the focus instead to Charlize Theron’s no-nonsense Imperator Furiosa. For Hardy’s next outing, though, the esteemed British actor is poised to steal the show by playing both Ron and Reggie Kray for Brian Helgeland’s upcoming crime drama, Legend.
Following the first teaser released a few months back, Universal Pictures has lifted the curtain on the domestic trailer for the film, showcasing some of the offbeat comedy and the ways in which Hardy experiments with the dual protagonist set-up. Heck, there are times when the two brothers even square up to one another – sibling rivalry and all that – and Helgeland touched upon the filming process behind these scenes in a recent interview with Yahoo! Movies.

Writer/director Brian Helgeland follows up "42" with British organized crime thriller "Legend," inspired by John Pearson’s book "Profession of Violence." Hardy plays the two notorious Kray brothers opposite Aussie actress Emily Browning and English actor Christopher Eccleston (wonderful as a fanatical preacher on HBO's "The Leftovers"). Helgeland won the Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar in 1998 for his wickedly clever James Ellroy noir "La Confidential," directed by Curtis Hanson. He was nominated in 2005 for penning Clint Eastwood's crime melodrama "Mystic River." "Legend" opens in the UK on September 11, suggesting an awards bid, but no Us release date has been set. Working Title will handle the film's imminent Us release.

Tom Hardy is Kray Kray – literally. For Brian Helgeland’s upcoming crime drama Legend, the Mad Max: Fury Road star will play twins Ronald and Reginald Kray, two illustrious London mobsters who ruled the underbelly of 60s London from the top-down.
Based on John Pearson’s acclaimed novel The Progression Of Violence, the film will chart the rise and fall of the sharp-suited pair, who operated out of their nightclub in the city’s West End, gaining access to the capital’s richest denizens and plush hotel rooms. From their seedy ivory tower, the Kray twins were able to pull the strings on their own tight-knit gang of criminals. Known as The Firm, the crooks were essentially employed to carry out the siblings’ dirty work, be it arson, theft or out-and-out murder. Eventually, Ronald and Reginald Kray were sentenced to prison in 1969.

This September we'll get another adaptation of their story: Legend, written and directed by Brian Helgeland, and starring Tom Hardy as both of the infamous twins. The film will cover the rise of Ronald and Reginald Kray during the fifties and sixties, and is an adaptation of the book The Progression Of Violence by John Pearson. Helgeland is rightfully famous for writing the script for L.A. Confidential, and directing A Knight's Tale (and at least one-and-a-half version of Payback). With him and Tom Hardy attached to this material, there sure are enough reasons to get excited. Today a teaser trailer landed, and it...

ITV’s Lucan attempts to shed light on the baffling mystery surrounding the disappearance of Lord Lucan back in 1974. However, armchair sleuths were dealt a blow at the outset when a lengthy disclaimer appeared onscreen stating that some of the script is based on real events while the rest is … well either made up or just based on good guesswork. Ok, so if they were going to solve the mystery I suppose this story would have been on Newsnight rather than in the nightly drama slot. Consequently, it’s better to judge this as a piece of fiction rather than some kind of pseudo-documentary.
The action began back in 1958 as a party-pooping police patrol brought the curtain down on a secret gambling den run by John Aspinall (Christopher Eccleston). Aspinall is portrayed as bit of a crook who prides himself on his ability to swindle rich folk out of their inherited fortunes.
