Hit: Faith comforted Lucy. Poor Lucy — she’s reeling from losing her mother at such an early age. And when Faith ran into Lucy, she immediately supported the teen. It’s exactly what Lucy needed and all of the awkwardness and the painful social cues weren’t there. Both Reylynn Caster and Lily Brooks O’Briant were great during these scenes.

Miss: Any scene of Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) running into Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Mark Grossman). Unfortunately, these scenes are not as fun or as dramatic as we want them to be.

On the Case

Now that Chance (Conner Floyd) has quit Abbot-Chancellor, we’ll never find out what he was supposedly doing there. But we will see him back on the job as an investigator. Heather (Vail Bloom) is dead, and the fact that her body was found wrapped in her carpet pretty much dismisses the accidental death hypothesis.

So Chance will look into what may have happened, and he needs to start with Daniel (Michael Graziadei) at his home. Even before he knows, that’s where the murder took place. We sure hope he at least thinks to look around. Blood isn’t that easy to wash out. Neither is poison.

At Chancellor park, Audra (Zuleyka Silver) thanked Sally (Courtney Hope) for getting her out of the office on such a beautiful day. Sally admitted she wasn’t okay and was upset over trusting Adam. Audra reminded her Adam had lied and cheated, urging her to cut him out of her heart for good.

Sally wasn’t sure she was ready to move on, especially after losing Ava. She feared she might never love again. Audra told her to be tough, suggesting that not caring was the best revenge. Sally questioned whether revenge was just another form of caring.

This week on “The Young and the Restless,” the drama series celebrates 30 years of Sharon Case as Sharon Collins Newman Abbott McAvoy Rosales, which includes flashbacks to some of the character’s greatest romances, biggest highs and lows, heartbreaks, losses, and more. On Friday, September 27, things come to a dramatic conclusion when Sharon reunites with those who love her, while she does her best to rid herself of the ghost of Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby)
