My entertainment career began at twelve years old as an extra in Robert Towne's Personal Best in Eugene, Oregon. Then, at sixteen, I was cast by Rob Reiner as 'Moke' in Stand By Me, still in Oregon. Subsequently, I moved to LA at eighteen without a clue and a head full of fantasies of becoming a working actor; instead, I landed behind the camera and explored the industry for thirty-five years, working my way from the art dept. as a swing gang set dresser (glorified furniture mover) to joining the DGA in 1996 as an assistant director and evolved into a producer in 2007. In 2018 I helped develop an independent film, and we produced it in 2021, and I acted in a small role. I may have worked on some projects you have seen. And I am forever up for the unknown challenge and investigating opportunities with my executive capabilities beyond traditional entertainment while pursuing my core desire to develop projects to produce and act in.
