James Bond is an iconic cinematic character portrayed by many actors, including Pierce Brosnan, who had the honor to embody the character in four films from 1995 to 2002. However, the actor’s behavior in a resurfaced interview is painting him in a negative light.

Brosnan joined Conan O’Brien on his late-night talk show to promote his 1997 film Dante’s Peak. However, fans find the actor’s behavior arrogant and dismissive, particularly after he interrupted the show host, which sparked strong reactions.

A few months ago, Paramount and Miramax announced that they are reviving the Scary Movie horror parody series to bring a Scary Movie 6 to theatres sometime in 2025 – and that announcement has inspired us to go back and revisit the earlier entries in the franchise. Last month, we covered the original Scary Movie, and now time for Scary Movie 2 (watch it Here) to get the Revisited treatment. You can hear all about it in the video embedded above.
Directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans from a screenplay written by the team of Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Alyson Fouse, Greg Grabianski, Dave Polsky, Michael Anthony Snowden, and Craig Wayans, Scary Movie 2 has the following synopsis: As the supernatural extension of the first film, Scary Movie 2 casts its satirical eye on such iconic classics as The Exorcist, House on Haunted Hill, and Poltergeist, as well as the more recent films Hannibal and What Lies Beneath.

Adam McKay’s Hyperobject Industries is set to launch two new comedy podcasts, both humorously anchored in nature. Tiny Dinos premiered on May 7, with episodes dropping weekly on Tuesdays; and Walkin’ About on May 15, 2024, with episodes dropping weekly on Wednesdays. Both series will be available on major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Amazon Music.
McKay says: “Connor, James and Allan are all very talented comedians, and Lord knows we all can use some laughter these days. But they’re also asking questions that boldly challenge the international corporate power structure like ‘What happens if I start taking regular walks?’ And ‘What would happen if we brought dinosaurs back but they were super tiny?’”

The key to understanding Conan O’Brien’s comedy is knowing that it comes from a point of kindness. Yes, I know in this age of comics punching down, this kind of compliment may leave you with a neon “Must Avoid!” sign flashing in your bleary eyes — but stay with me.
Here is an example. Early in the first episode of his new, four-episode Max travel show “Conan O’Brien Must Go,” Conan — who has earned the right to be referred to by his first name. See: Carson, Johnny — travels to Oslo, Norway. There, he pops in on Jarle, a Norwegian waif of a rapper that Conan had originally met on a segment of his “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” podcast. In the podcast video, Jarle’s hair was combed and he seemed coherent. Then Conan surprises him. Jarle comes to the door, and he’s maybe 110 pounds in a long sleeve T-shirt,...

Sitting down with Jimmy Fallon Tuesday night in his first visit back to the Tonight Show since he stepped down as host in 2010, Conan O’Brien told a story about the time a fire at 30 Rock forced his show out of its studio on the sixth floor, so they taped show from the Rockefeller Center ice skating rink instead.
“The guest was Samuel L. Jackson,” O’Brien recalled to Fallon. “Andy Richter, my sidekick, and I ran into a Sharper Image and bought one of those massage chairs, and put it out next to the rink. And Samuel L. Jackson is like sitting there–the coolest guy in the world–but no one can make one of those chairs cool.”

Conan O’Brien’s longtime association with Andy Richter continues, with O’Brien’s former sidekick set to host a new call-in show on SiriusXM’s Conan O’Brien Radio channel.

According to a Reddit post from the new show, the first episode will feature special guest Andy Daly.

Plot: A live television broadcast in 1977 goes horribly wrong, unleashing evil into the nation’s living rooms.
Review: I’ve always had a fondness for late-night talk shows and their host. While I’m more of a Letterman and Conan guy, the shadow of Carson looms largely over anyone in that space. So the concept of Late Night With The Devil immediately appeals to me. They would always have a slew of guests, ranging in their celebrity status, all with the purpose of popping a rating. But what if one of those guests were actually able to prove the existence of the supernatural? The possibilities are endless.
Following the night that a struggling late-night show was able to prove the existence of a supernatural presence (or were they?), Late Night With The Devil is like a slow descent into Hell. I always love a horror film that brings you on...

Three years ago, when Conan O’Brien retired from late-night, it was a very different world. Max was known as HBO Max. TBS was still releasing original series. David Zaslav had just been announced as the CEO of what would become Warner Bros. Discovery. Change was in the air, and now many, many changes have happened.
But Conan remains a constant. Before “Conan” (the late-night series on TBS) welcomed its last guests, its host had already launched a wildly successful podcast, “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.” He soon sold his booming digital media business to SiriusXM for $150 million, produced stand-up specials (“Chris Redd: Why Am I Like This?” and “Gary Gulman: Born on Third Base”) and podcast series (from Rob Lowe and Andy Richter), and acted in everything from “Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain” and “Murderville” to “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story” and “Marcel the Shell With Shoes On.

As Drew Barrymore digs herself into a deeper hole regarding the return of her daytime talk show, lost in the debate is a conversation about the peculiar nature of syndicated TV.
One week ago, Barrymore ignited a firestorm when she announced her talk show would be returning amid the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. In the week since, tensions worsened and Barrymore, normally well-liked for her good-natured personality, intensified that criticism when she doubled down with a second, now-deleted, video message. If anything, her attempt to quell any criticism had the opposite effect.
Barrymore is at the eye of the storm, but she is not the only daytime host returning this upcoming week. “The Jennifer Hudson Show” and CBS’ “The Talk,” which is not syndicated, will launch new seasons on Monday, Sept. 18, as well as Sherri Shepherd’s “Sherri” and Karamo Brown’s “Karamo,” though those two shows are not struck or covered by the WGA,...

A fresh-faced comedian walks through New York after having woken up and feeding his fish. He's got a nearly beatific smile on his face as he's wished good luck and almost instantly told by those same people (with sarcastic tones) that there's no pressure, because he's been chosen to replace one of the most beloved comedians to ever grace the small screen. He's tall, lanky, with a shock of red hair, and he's just barely reached the age of 30. Everyone from John Tesh to Tom Brokaw to passers-by give him some version of these remarks ("Ya better be as good as Letterman!"), and he takes them all in good stride. He walks into 30 Rockefeller Center, gets ready for his first TV hosting gig, taking over the "Late Night" show on NBC at 12:35 am. He walks into his dressing room, where he proceeds to attempt hanging himself. It's only when...

Mayim Bialik will not be hosting Season 2 of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” as she continues to support the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, Variety has learned from sources.
On Monday, ABC issued a press release with changes to their fall schedule, noting that Ken Jennings will host the new season of “Celebrity Jeopardy!,” which premieres Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. Et.
ABC did not respond to Variety’s request for comment.
“Jeopardy!” showrunner Michael Davies revealed earlier this month that material for the star-studded spinoff series’ second season was completed before the WGA went on strike, so the upcoming season will feature completely original material. While Bialik and Jennings split hosting duties on “Jeopardy!,” the former was the sole host for Season 1 of “Celebrity Jeopardy!,” featuring such guests as Simu Liu, Andy Richter, Aisha Tyler, Michael Cera and more.

Written and directed by Chelsea Peretti, First Time Female Director lives in the self-deprecating world of meta storytelling. Debuting at the Tribeca Festival in the Spotlight Narrative section, Peretti put so much of herself into this narrative, it could work as a documentary. It’s also such a comically honest portrayal of what women must endure if they want to get ahead in any career, let alone the theater business. Having to constantly prove to yourself and others that you are capable is so exhausting, but can also be rewarding if you are set up for success. Many are often left to fend for themselves, and the film shows one way of how that can happen.
In addition to Peretti, First Time Female Director boast a hefty cast including Amy Poehler, Andy Richter, Benito Skinner, Blake Anderson, Megan Stalter, Megan Mullally, Jak Knight, and Xosha Roquemore, Kate Berlant and many more.

You can probably guess the premise of Chelsea Peretti’s occasionally amusing film First Time Female Director from its title. The comedy, written and directed by the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star, follows the misadventures of a local theater’s first woman director — how scandal thrusts her into the spotlight and a lack of institutional support tries to yank her out of it. In its roughly 29 seasons, productions at the fictional Regis Theater in Glendale have only ever been directed by men. Sam, an anxious playwright played by Peretti, is about to change that.
As with so many recent historical firsts, Sam’s appointment is propelled by a misbehaving man. When a shocking impropriety shakes the community theater, its artistic director Sheldon Clifford (Andy Richter) fires popular director Greggy Thompson (Tim Heidecker). Sam wasn’t Sheldon’s first, second or, if we’re being honest, even third choice, as evidenced by...

With the rise of the streaming era and the dominance of social media came a keener awareness of if — and when — your new favorite show is going to get the axe. But knowing the end is coming doesn't make it hurt less. In fact, there's a growing resentment around shows that clearly have a fanbase, but that don't pull in subscribers in large enough numbers to satisfy executives. After the fates of Netflix's "The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance" and AMC's "Moonhaven," which was killed after a promising early renewal, we're having more trouble falling in love with new shows than ever before.
But there's something even worse than a brief fling with a great new series: getting a glimpse of one, and then never being able to watch any of it at all. It's tough for any new show, especially high-budget science fiction series, to get out of pilot episode limbo,...

Happy sigh. Familiar faces, long walks on the beach, drinks with umbrellas, poetry, a death-defying game show. Fantasy Island Season 2 Episode 3 is a romantic, funny, and satisfying do-over for our Susan Mayer and Mike Delfino.

Meanwhile, the tables get turned -- hell, they're totally upended -- when Ruby tries to connect with Helene as a twenty-something only to have Helene call her on her seventy-five-year-old sensibilities. Also: Mermaid Sighting.

Move over, White Lotus. The really magical island resort, Fantasy Island, is reopening for Season 2, and even the staff get into the action. This year “has a sexy, fun vibe,” says Sarah Fain, who, with Elizabeth Craft, cocreated Fox’s delightful update of the 1977–84 anthology. (Credit: Laura Magruder/ Fox) Adding that “romance is in the air” for enigmatic island host Roarke (Roselyn Sánchez) and her ageless assistant Ruby (Kiara Barnes), Fain says fantasies this season are about “transformation, whether that’s ruling the school at your [class] reunion or re-meeting your spouse.” As for guests, you couldn’t ask for better. Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Cheryl Hines and Lucifer’s Rachael Harris check in to the premiere as old pals hoping to repair the past, and Episode 3 reunites ex–Desperate Housewives super couple James Denton and Teri Hatcher. Andy Richter, Mean Girls’ Jonathan Bennett, and Lynn Whitfield are also headed to the tropics,...

Honestly, it's been a bleak television year without the presence of Roselyn Sanchez's Elena Roarke and Kiara Barnes's old soul sidekick, Ruby Akuda, welcoming us to the magical paradise of Fox's Fantasy Island.
But 2023 is already looking brighter as the show returns for its second season on January 2, and they hit the ground running with three guests learning new things about themselves and those closest to their hearts.
Meanwhile, both Roarke and Ruby's respective relationships have progressed since last we saw our hosts. Hot stuff!
The season premiere has the template double plotline, with two separate fantasies provided for two parties of guests visiting the Island. And we have familiar faces popping in as our stars of the week.
In the first, Lucifer's Rachael Harris and Curb Your Enthusiasm's Cheryl Hines arrive as best friends since high school Tara and Jessica.
