Fernando Rovzar began his career at 23 when he co-founded Lemon Studios. Since 2004, Fernando has produced over 20 feature films including "Matando Cabos," "Kilómetro 31," and "Después de Lucía," directed by Michel Franco, who went on to receive the Un Certain Regard award at the Cannes Film Festival.
In 2008, Fernando began writing and directing various TV series, starting with "13 Fears" (Televisa), "Paramédicos" (Canal Once), and "Sr. Ávila" (HBO), for which he won an International Emmy Award. In 2018, Fernando directed and co-wrote and directed "Monarca" and executive produced the widely successful "Control Z," both for Netflix.
Most recently he directed 2 episodes of the MGM+ original series "Hotel Cocaine" and created "Women in Blue" for Apple TV+, a 10 episode drama about the first female police force in Mexico City, set in 1971.
