Moreover, as Barrett provided only voiceovers in the latter two series, he is the only actor to have appeared onscreen in four different Star Trek series.

- He studied drama at Carnegie Tech (now Carnegie-Mellon University, and began his acting career at the Pittsburgh Playhouse.
