Taylor Scott(I)
- Actor
Peter Taylor Scott (known as Taylor Scott) grew up around film. His
mother, Dana L. Cook (formerly Dana L. Scott) was a permanent stunt and
photo double for Roma Downy on "Touched by an Angel" which was filmed
mostly in Salt Lake City, UT when it was in production. Because his
mother worked in the film industry, Taylor, along with his siblings,
were afforded the opportunity to work as extras in many episodes of
"Touched by an Angel" as well as some notable movies such as "A Home of
our Own" and "Holloween 6: Ther Curse of Micheal Myers", though they
never had any real acting roles. Taylor did audition for the role of
Younger Forest in "Forest Gump" as well as a role in the "Lassie"
movie, but was obviously unsuccessful in getting those roles.
In the summer of 1996, Taylor auditioned for the role of Chazz, one of the bullies, in "Rupert Patterson Wants to be a Superhero". He got the role and spent the summer making a movie. He and his family, a long with many of the residents of the Heber Valley, played a major role outside of the film by providing catering, staging areas, filming locations, extra's, and by having a good relationship with the community which helped the production of the film immensely.
Taylor's only other "real" acting role was with his brother in a local production of a play at Wheeler Farm in Salt Lake City, UT called "The Rented Christmas" in 1990.
Taylor still lives in Utah, he married his high school sweet heart, and is a veteran of the War on Terrorism.
