- Had always wanted to play an alien on a "Star Trek" show. He got his wish when he was cast as a member of the vicious Species 8472 on Star Trek: Voyager (1995)...which turned out to be a character disguised as a human (Admiral Bullock). He finally got to play a real alien, the Xindi Primate leader, on Star Trek: Enterprise (2001).
- Was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
- Commanded a Mobile Advisory Team in Vietnam and was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge, Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
- Military training included Airborne School, Special Warfare School, and Vietnamese Language School.
- Tucker's character was "The Writer" on the first-run syndicated children's television series "Jabberwocky" (produced by W-CVB Boston channel 5) serving as host opposite hostesses Joanne Sopko (1976) and actress JoBeth Williams (1977-78). The show featured live actors, puppets, musical numbers and cartoon segments.
- Performed in Bruce Nauman's Video Art Installation "Good Boy, Bad Boy".
