Bennett made her big screen directorial debut with the independent feature film "Flip The Script," starring Robin Givens and Miguel Nunez. A few additional behind the camera credits include; the Award Winning Indie film, Blueprint, which Bennett wrote, directed and starred, the feature film, "Contradictions Of The Heart", which starred, Vanessa Williams, Clifton Powell and Malcolm Jamal Warner, Extractions, which she co-directed and co-stars,
More recently Bennett Directed/produced Heart And Soul Of A Champion, a new DocuSeries featuring former athletes, After Midnight, a talk show featuring well-know comedians, and Sleeping With Strangers, a television pilot. Bennett has completed "The Wright Turn"an 8/45 minute episode television series, which she stars, and serves as co-Creator/co- Executive Producer and co-Writer . Bennett has over fifteen stage directing & producing credits including the critically lauded musical, and L.A. Times critic pick, "Dick And Don's Fabulous 60's Rock & Soul Spectacular," which she also created and the riveting musical, "This Is My Story, This Is My Song," a semi- autobiographical musical based on the life of recording artist Brenda Lee Eager and more...
Returning from an on-camera hiatus, Bennett dusted off the cobwebs of her first love, acting and singing and recurred on such shows as the CBS series, 68 Whiskey, Bosch (Amazon), and Games People Play (BET). Some of her previous TV credits include; guest starring roles on (Fox) 9-1-1, (LifeTime) movie "Evil Doctor Co-host of a Fox Television talk show entitled, "All About You", a recurring role on "General Hospital and a host of other.
Bennett's stage credits include; the LA Premier play B.R.O.K.E.N. Code B.I.R.D. Switching, Broadway, in such musicals as "Runaways," as well as the Los Angeles premiere of "Signature," by Pulitzer Prize winning writer Beth Henley, to name a few.
Bennett is also an accomplished singer/ songwriter having toured as one of three singers in the Billboard top 40's charting, RCA's pop recording group "Altitude". Also an ASCAP songwriter, several of her songs have been recorded by music artists, as well as featured on sound tracks for both film and television. Bennett's most loved accomplishment is being the mother of her three beautiful young adults. She is also the founder of Reclaim Haven, a mind, body, spirit, haven for women to empower and reclaim themselves
