Victoria Tarazi was born in Pasadena California. She studied ballet
with The National Dance Academy in Los Angeles and the Pasadena Civic
Ballet from the young age of 3 up to her late 20s.
Victoria also studied Film, Political Science and Theatre at USC. Shortly after, she worked part time at Booneshaft-Lewis in Century City for Mayor Bradley's public relations. Needing the arts back in her life, Victoria left the public relations world and worked as a dance choreographer for several performances at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, The Beverly Hills Hotel, an actor's working gym called "The Space" with director Lance Lane , the feature film Blue City (1986) directed by Walter Hill, and the feature film Junked (1999) directed by Lance Lane. Her next position in the celluloid world was with Stephen J. Cannell and Reuben Cannon Casting for various T.V. shows such as Wonder Woman (1975), The Greatest American Hero (1981), Mister T (1983), Santa Barbara (1984) and many others..
She moved out of casting and into the world of production as a production coordinator with Paramount, and then HBO before she happily landed at Universal Studios where she worked on Simon & Simon (1981), and Miami Vice (1984). After these shows she remained with producers Richard Chapman, Bill Dial and Dean Zanetos as associate producer and assistant to producers. Victoria was also additional director on all stage inserts that were to later be edited into principal photography on Code Name: Foxfire (1985), Hawaiian Heat (1984) and Misfits of Science (1985), starring Courteney Cox and Dean Paul Martin.
Over the next decade Victoria produced a multitude of music videos and commercials for Propaganda Films and several other independent production companies. She was the production manager and 1st assistant director for various national commercials directed by Dominic Sena and Michael Bay. Some of these clients included Kellogg's, Apple Computers, McDonald's, AT&T and the very sexy and controversial "Budweiser" commercial that put Michael Bay on the map. She also worked with Dominic Sena on his feature film debut Kalifornia (1993) starring Brad Pitt, Juliette Lewis and David Duchovny and she worked on various music videos directed by Dominic Sena, Michael Bay and Antoine Fuqua for artists such as 'MegaDeath', Tina Turner, Meat Loaf , Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, David Bowie, Prince, George Michael, Bonnie Raitt, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cece Peniston and KISS, to name a few. Victoria had the opportunity to work on several commercials and music videos directed by one of Propaganda's founders David Fincher. Some of these clients included IBM, Coca Cola, Nike, Heineken, Levis Jeans, Madonna and Sting.
Victoria is now the President/CEO of her own company Pure Entertainment which she started with her partner actor/producer Yan Birch in 1998 shooting feature length projects.
