From the featured section of Instagram’s Explore tab, they oozed a kind of sun-dappled cool obtainable only above a certain income threshold in the state of California. It was clear who the people in the photos were. What wasn’t obvious — largely due to the surreality of social media and innate suspicion of so-called “candids” in an era of Facetune and filters — was whether they knew they were being photographed. Here, captured in broad daylight, were two famous co-stars kissing in a car.

Hostage House sees an ambitious realtor, who’s showing a palatial-looking home in her neighbourhood, get caught up, along with her daughter, in a hostage situation during an open house…
Who doesn’t love a good Die Hard-esque home invasion movie? Homeowners versus thieves in a battle of wits… Or maybe an adult version of Home Alone, with traps taking out crooks? Yeah Hostage House is neither of those things; no matter how much I wanted it to be. I does feature its protagonists eventually taking on the thieves but the bulk of the film plays more on the tension between captives and captors – only finally moving into anything resembling your typical home invasion movie in the final third of the film.

Gravitas Ventures has acquired U.S. and Canadian distribution rights to Too Late, a horror comedy that marks the debut feature from director D.W. Thomas and writer Tom Becker. Alyssa Limperis (Aunty Donna’s Big Ol’ House of Fun), Ron Lynch, Will Weldon (This Isn’t Happening), Mary Lynn Rajskub, Fred Armisen, Jenny Zigrino, Jack De Sena (Avatar: The Last Airbender) and Brooks Wheelan (SNL) star.

Ariana Grande is giving Adam Sandler's movie The Waterboy her own special twist. The 26-year-old singer and her pals recreated scenes from the 1998 film and shared a few videos of their work via Twitter this week. In one of the clips, Grande played Bobby Boucher and revisited the scene where Sandler's classic character strikes up a conversation with Jennifer Taylor's character Rita at a party. "And how'd you all make use of Your day," the "Thank U, Next" star captioned the clip. Grande then reprised the role for a scene where Bobby has a conversation with Mama Boucher and Vicki Vallencourt. Her mom, Joan, and her Victorious co-star Elizabeth Gillies took on...

It's the end of a TV era! "Two and a Half Men" wrapped up its 12-season run on Thursday night with a series finale that revolved around the idea that Charlie Sheen's Charlie Harper was still alive ... but no, the actor never made a cameo. But another one of the original stars -- Angus T. Jones -- made an epic return, and, wow, did he look different. Sporting long hair and a scruffy beard, the young actor looked almost unrecognizable! It has been two years since the 21-year-old star left the hit show after playing the character Jake Harper for nearly 10 years. The actor received a wave of backlash in November 2012 when he repeatedly trashed the show and called it "filth." Although he apologized for his rant, CBS decided to drop Jones as a series regular. This was the first time we've seen him reprise his role since his feud with the network,...

Gonna be honest, that was fun. If you guessed that Charlie Harper, television's most infamous asshole, was never actually hit by a train in France, you would be sorely correct. He's actually been in a pit in Rose's (Melanie Lynskey) basement in Sherman Oaks this entire time, plotting an eventual escape via a bowling shirt rope and an open window in order to exact revenge on Alan (Jon Cryer) and Walden (Ashton Kutcher) for moving on without him. Part of his revenge involved dividing his two and a half million dollar music royalties up among those closest to him, minus Alan, but including Charlie's daughter Jenny (Amber Tamblyn), his ex Chelsea (Jennifer Taylor), and…his nephew Jake (Angus T....

*an online screener of this film was provided by The Asylum. Director: John Gulager. Writers: Richard Schenkman, Keith Allan and Delondra Williams. Cast: Anthony Michael Hall, Daryl Hannah, Alan Ruck, Rachel G. Fox, Shirley Jones and Jennifer Taylor. Zombie Night is a made for television film, which was produced by The Asylum. This reviewer is very familiar with The Asylum's work in low budget filmmaking, so one goes into one of their movies with reasonable expectations. And, Zombie Night certainly did not exceed any hopes. This title, while well shot, is developed from a fairly weak screenplay, which is almost plotless. The focus on minor characters does not really help the viewer immerse into the experience, as well. Overall, Zombie Night is a fairly ho hum affair and in a saturated zombie film market, it will soon be reburied. The story for the film can be discussed in just a few lines.

It started with a picture. It was a picture of a pretty, ambitious, self-dependent young woman sitting in a coffee shop, in-between college classes. In it, she was minding her own business, occupied with schoolwork and distracted by a boyfriend she loved very much. Her name was Jennifer Taylor and she didn’t know the picture had been taken. She also didn’t know the person who took it. The same person who would take her too.

Fiona's back! But there was no time to even be happy about that on "Burn Notice" (Thu., 9 p.m. Et on USA), as she and Michael immediately started hunting the trail of Nate's killer. When Rebecca is no longer in the condo owned by Sam's lady friend Elsa -- introduced this week and played by Jennifer Taylor -- she becomes their top suspect.
After failing to capture Rebecca by following her trail and even getting into a gunfire exchange with her, she turns up at Michael's place to proclaim her innocence. She seems pretty adamant that she can prove it, saying she was in Florida when Nate was killed and offering to give him her complete itinerary, including security cameras that would have caught footage of her.
The claim enough was apparently enough for Michael, who decided to let her go. In other words, Michael now has a mission that...

How do you keep Burn Notice from going totally dark and depressing after an event such as Nate’s death? That was one of the questions asked of Matt Nix after last week’s episode, to which he replied that there were some fun episodes and good humor coming up.
This week "Reunion" brought us our first dose of the enjoyment, as we finally got to meet Sam’s girlfriend Elsa. After years of Sam talking to her on the phone or mentioning her in passing, Nix provided an unexpected sweet treat.
And it was totally worth the wait. She is successful, smart, and if Charlie Harper is any judge, beautiful. Had you asked me to describe what Elsa might look like, I’m pretty sure I would not have picked anyone near as lovely as Jennifer Taylor. Way to go, Sam! Now we know why you have been keeping her under wraps,...

"Burn Notice" is on fire -- and star Bruce Campbell promises that things won't be cooling down anytime soon for Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) and his team.
"There's going to be stuff coming up that challenges Michael and Sam more than his brother's death," says Sam Axe's alter ego. "Because in order to exact revenge, Michael is going to potentially cross the line.
"Sam's job as the moral compass is to say, Are we still the good guys? There are going to be some challenging confrontations between the two of them as things get crazy."
Tonight (Aug. 2) we finally meet Sam's ladylove, Elsa (Jennifer Taylor, "Two and Half Men"), whose "loser son" is the team's "client."
Spoiler alert: This isn't the last we see of Elsa. "We filmed an episode yesterday where she comes back," Campbell says. "Our team is on the run, and he's got to get some final...

There are times we lose sight of Ricky Gervais’ comedic genius now that he has become a celebrity in his own right. The news that he will once again host the Golden Globe Awards brings with it nervous anticipation but the better news is that The Office Special Edition is coming out this week from Warner Home Video. The 2001 series is collected in its entirety with both Christmas specials included along with new featurettes plus the original bonus material.
Never before has there been a television series set in an office environment that felt so accurate even though there were some distinctly English touches. Coming two years after Mike Judge’s brilliant Office Space, Gervais and partner Stephen Merchant gave us the employees at Sough’s Wernham Hogg Paper Company and a mockumentary style that has been imitated by numerous shows ever since.

Isn’t it impressive that it took a show called Two and a Half Men, boasting its male cast in its title, seven years to finally grow some balls in its sense of humor? In its seventh season, with the half a man somewhere closer two three-quarters, and the two brothers as womanizing and hopelessly spineless (respectively) as ever, the show latched on to a different part of comedy’s corpse and finally found a part that wasn’t entirely sucked dry. It still doesn’t manage to produce something in the top-half of sitcoms, and in fact you can’t help but wonder if the new openly dirtier sense of humor won’t be a turn-off for those who’ve held it up as one of the more family-friendly shows out there. The seventh season is a step in the right direction for making the show a general contender in the land of comedy,...

Maybe it's because Charlie Sheen might be leaving Two and a Half Men, but the show seems to be less and less about Charlie each week and pushing Alan more center stage.
Don't get us wrong, Jon Cryer is great as Alan and deserved his Emmy, but his character was always meant to be supporting. Too much Alan Harper can drive anyone insane. Just ask the guy's two ex-wives or even his mother.
With that rant said, we weren't huge fans of "I Called Him Magoo," which relied too heavily on Alan and his relationship with Lyndsay. While we'll take the gorgeous and hilarious Courtney Thorne-Smith over Jennifer Bini Taylor's boring Chelsea any day, the two of these characters do not make Two and a Half Men.
The show is definitely strongest when it has more of the cast interacting together, and not on their own separate plot lines.

Charlie Sheen's 'Two and a Half Men' co-star Jennifer Taylor fears the show will be over if he quits. The actress - who plays the actor's love interest Christine in the Us comedy series - is desperate for the 44-year-old actor to return to the show following a stint in rehab and a pending court case into the assault of his wife, Brooke Mueller, because there would be no programme without him. She told E! Online: ''If we don't have Charlie, we don't have a show. I'm just hoping we're going to have a show.'' CBS and Warner Bros are due to make an ..

Two and a Half Men without Charlie Sheen? Not gonna happen, says a costar. "If we don't have Charlie, we don't have a show," Jennifer Taylor, who plays Christine on the hit sitcom, told us at this weekend's Race to Erase Ms gala in L.A. "I'm just hoping we're going to have a show." Taylor insisted she hasn't been told one way or the other whether Sheen will return for another season or two. "You know what?" she said. "I think it's a toss-up. I think Charlie would be at peace if he walked away, but I hope he won't." And despite the ongoing troubles in his private life, Taylor said he never brought them to work. "He...

She's gone! She's really gone! After spending an entire season whining that we couldn't wait for Two and a Half Men to get rid of Chelsea, she finally packed her things and left last night.
While we have nothing against Jennifer Bini Taylor, her character simply made Men less funny than it was in previous seasons. Now if Sheen can get out of rehab and stay out of their long enough, we're excited to see one of our favorite sitcoms return to its former glory.
As for last night's episode, "Tinkle Like a Princess," it certainly had its funny moments. Our favorite scene was probably Alan and Berta arguing over who should rescue a drowning Charlie.
Unfortunately, the biggest problem was most of the humor came from the surround cast, while Charlie played an uncharacteristic douche. While with Chelsea, Charlie never seem that infatuated (except for maybe her breasts), but now that she's gone,...

In the wake of Brooke Mueller checking into rehab, Charlie Sheen's Two and a Half Men costar Jennifer Taylor tells E! News the actor is still "holding up really well." "Charlie has been great with all of the stuff going on," Taylor said at the Aarp Movies for Grownups Awards on Tuesday night. "He's really good—he's in good spirits." Taylor, who plays Sheen's on-again/off-again fiancée, Chelsea, on the hit sitcom, added that she's very impressed with his positive attitude while working... "He's amazing," she said. "He's holding up really well, and my prayers are with both of them." And while the CBS comedy isn't...
