Marc Vann

Marc Vann grew up in Virginia, on the water. Fishing, crabbing, buzzing
around in small motorboats. Never had any interest in theater or acting
until, while working on his MBA, was drawn to a mime workshop. (Always
has been a big fan of silence.) That led to studying dance and
movement, and his very first theater job doing West Side Story at
Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado. He married the actress playing
Maria and moved to Chicago where he sucked in many plays but finally
got his footing as an actor while being an arts administrator during
the day. (Was business manager for the world renowned Hubbard Street
Dance Chicago for 5 years.) His last shows in Chicago were "Flyovers"
with William Petersen and playing Salvador Dali in "Hysteria" at
Steppenwolf Theatre, directed by John Malkovich, who he also acted with
in the stage production of "The Libertine". He began practicing yoga as
soon as he moved to LA in 1998, which is the key to sanity in Los
Angeles and the Entertainment Industry.
