West was born in the Midwest, but raised all over the world due to his fathers career. Moving every two years was a challenge but, he soon found comfort in his curiosity of the entertainment industry.
Mario soon began hosting local television shows in whatever city he happened to be living in. He quickly learned how to produce his own shows while still in high school. Just after high school he dropped out of college to begin his production career.
Today, he is the founder of The Dantis Group, a media company. The company has a talent management division, develops both film and television projects, publicity, packaging of endorsements, and new media content.
Currently in development, is a new media series called "The Days and Nights". A series that is rooted in pop culture and features celebrity interviews. West is slated to host the new project as well. "The Days and Nights" will be launched in 2016.
The Dantis Group also welcomes pitches by other storytellers as well.
