Mark White is an American production designer who has worked on a variety of film and television projects,
including The Handmaid's Tale for which he won and Emmy Award for outstanding Production Design
White attended the prestigious Center for Creative Youth at Wesleyan University, studied at the Silvermine Arts Center and Maryland Institute College of Art.
He began his career in commercial illustration and toy and mask design for Topstone Industries before transitioning to film.
White's work has been praised for its attention to detail and its ability to create visually striking worlds. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, he said that his goal is to "create a world that is believable and immersive, but also visually interesting."
White is a member of United Scenic Artists and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He is currently based in New York.
