The fan favorite pitch ‘n’ putt golf tournament is back for the third go-round. The Tito’s Shorties Classic presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka features a game of “Tito’s Texas Team Skins” over nine holes at Butler Pitch & Putt in downtown Austin, Texas. For the first time ever, PGA Tour professionals join with members of the podcast Bob Does Sports to form three teams competing for laughs, bragging rights and charity. Each team plays for a charitable organization of their choice, with Tito’s donating $350,000 total. The 2014 New Hollywood (Nuho) Online Film Festival is a pioneering digital initiative which will allow worldwide film enthusiasts the ability to view features, docs and shorts in a daring web-based film festival platform.
Celebrated producer, director, writer Spike Lee will inaugurate the first annual Nuho Online Film Festival, which launches on February 7 and runs through February 28, 2014. Two new horror full length features, The Battery and ColdWater can be viewed individually for $2 each (or $14.99 for all-access pass), and all the short films are Free.
Founded by Keith Mitchell (Mr. 3000, Eddie, Like Mike 2) and Ivy League entrepreneur Chris Kanik, Nuho has been created to offer a contemporary alternative to the traditional film festival.

The titles in active development are; an adaptation of Anthony Bourdain.s bestselling novel Bone In The Throat produced by Lenny Beckerman (Uwantmetokillhim?) and Peter Heslop (The King.S Speech); the romantic comedy Closer To Fine to be directed by Joshua Michael Stern (Swing Vote) and Spy Vs. Stu, an action comedy to be directed by Hervé Renoh (Coursier).

Bassett makes 'Mr. 3000' team with Disney, Mac
Angela Bassett has signed on to star opposite Bernie Mac in the Walt Disney Co. baseball comedy Mr. 3000. Being directed by Drumline helmer Charles Stone, Mr. 3000 centers on a retired Detroit Tigers player (Mac) who comes out of retirement when three of his base hits are disallowed, dropping him below the prized 3,000-hit plateau. Bassett will play a sports reporter who is Mac's love interest in the film. Roger Birnbaum, Gary Barber and Maggie Wilde are producing the project, which was penned by Eric Champnella and Keith Mitchell. Frank Marshall, Johnathan Glickman and Steven Greener are executive producing. Disney production exec Jason Reed is overseeing for the studio. Bassett, who has starred in such films as The Score, How Stella Got Her Groove Back and Waiting to Exhale, also appears in the upcoming Sony Pictures Classics drama Masked & Anonymous. Bassett is repped by CAA.
