Having worked with some of the best in our industry, David Guenaga has performed in plays such as Superior Donuts from writer Tracy Letts, and the show David Makes Man now airing on HBO MAX. He also had a supporting role in the feature film No Escape being aired in December 2022 (Network TBD). Other credits include roles in various award winning independent films and a recurring role on a Youtube web series for SoulSnack.
David Guenaga has studied with some of the greatest teachers alive today. David studied the Meisner Technique under Terry Knickerbocker in NYC, and has also worked extensively with Howard Fine in Los Angeles.
Most recently, David has played Javier in Amor de Madre, a master of the underworld and a dark troubled gangster. Angel Ramirez in No Escape, a charismatic art dealer and love interest to the main character. And Officer Diaz, a judgmental, power hungry police officer who's self interest often gets him into unfavorable situations.
Recently in theatre he has played Yariel, a Cuban rapper and hustler in a staged play reading for Havana Music Hall the musical. He also recently portrayed Alister Fiend, the narrator and mascot for the Motley Crüe, in the play Mostly Crude at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in Los Angeles.
David is of Cuban/Basque heritage born in Miami, FL and he is fluent in both English and Spanish. He loves to spend time outdoors, discover new music, play basketball, and is learning how to play Jai Alai. David looks forward to continuing to work with the best and brightest the industry has to offer.
