"Yo, what does that even mean?" Samuel Goldwyn has debuted a full-length official trailer for the film titled Gook, which is a derogatory slang word in America used to describe Asians. This is yet another excellent trailer to follow-up the first one, making me seriously interested in this. The film is directed by Korean American filmmaker/actor Justin Chon, and is about two Korean American kids living in Los Angeles in the early 1990s. It's set against the backdrop of the infamous L.A. Riots during 1992. Starring Justin Chon and David So, as well as Simone Baker, Curtiss Cook Jr., Sang Chon, Omono Okojie, Ben Munoz, Cesar Garcia, Isaiah Jarel, and Kirlew Vilbon. This first premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this year, where it won the Audience Award in the low budget Next section. This is worth a look. Watch below. Here's the full official trailer (+ poster) for Justin Chon's Gook,...

Votiv Films and Taggart Productions have released the first trailer for their upcoming psychological thriller Circle. The film – written and directed by Aaron Hann and Mario Miscione – is an intense real-time thriller, which uniquely examines humanity under the worst possible circumstances that stars Carter Jenkins, Julie Benz, Mercy Malick, Allegra Masters, Michael Nardelli, Autumn Federici, Lawrence Kao, Kevin Sheridan and Cesar Garcia.
In a massive, mysterious chamber, fifty strangers awaken to find themselves trapped with no memory of how they got there. Organized in an inward-facing circle and unable to move, they quickly learn that every two minutes one of them must die… executed by a strange device in the center of the room. At first the attacks seem random, but soon the strangers realize that they, as a group, have the power to decide who will be the next to be killed. A vote. A chance to control the machine.

Breaking Bad fans who tuned in to the premiere of Better Call Saul last week were rewarded for their loyalty to showrunner Vince Gillian and company. In the last few seconds of the first episode, Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz) made a jaw-dropping appearance. In the next episode, "Mijo," we saw a kinder, gentler Tuco ... that is, one still prone to delivering vicious beatings and threats of murder, but still one willing to listen to reason. Pre-blue meth Tuco was practically a cuddly teddy bear in contrast to the man we saw in Breaking Bad, who killed his comrade for speaking out of turn.

Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) is back – sort of.
Better Call Saul takes place in 2002 – before the events of Breaking Bad – and follows James "Jimmy" McGill before he became Saul. In the series premiere, we met a bumbling hustler with a tragic career who is as motivated by his brother's illness as by his own desire to succeed at (nearly) any cost.
"Uno" had its fair share of Breaking Bad callbacks, with the final scene especially linking the spin-off to its predecessor in a huge, jaw-dropping way. But let's not get ahead of ourselves ...

Drive First Seven Minutes. The first 7 minutes movie clip of Nicolas Winding Refn‘s Drive (2011) stars Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston, Ron Perlman, and Christina Hendricks. Drive‘s plot synopsis: “A Hollywood stunt driver (Ryan Gosling) who usually keeps to himself and moonlights as a wheelman discovers that a contract has been put on him by a local mob boss after a heist that goes wrong.”
We previously posted the Drive (2011) Red Band Movie Trailer and reviewed the film here: Film Review: Drive (2011).
On the first seven minutes of Drive:
This clip doesn’t get into the meat of the plot, but it does offer up a nice taste of Drive‘s considerable charms, including Gosling’s withdrawn lead performance, Bryan Cranston‘s turn as Gosling’s accomplice, the seedy Los Angeles setting, the ’80s-inflected soundtrack, and the delectably tense vibe. Oh, and of course, some actual stunt driving.

Drive (2011) Film Review, a movie directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and starring Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston, Ron Perlman, Christina Hendricks, Oscar Isaac, Albert Brooks, Tina Huang, Joe Pingue, Cesar Garcia, James Biberi, Jeff Wolfe, Sarah Adela Tirado, Christian Cage, and Tiara Parker.
A minimalist film with Hollywood production attributes is almost an oxymoron. It is rare that they can co-exist together harmoniously but that unique situation is present in Drive.
The cinematography and palette in Drive are similar to Michael Mann’s Heat, except with Drive, during a few scenes, there is a elaborate and exquisite setup involved e.g. the stripper dressing room scene.
Though the scenes eventually explain themselves, there is no elaboration for what Driver (Ryan Gosling) wears. The yellow scorpion sigil on Driver’s white jacket is always a question, as most of the time, Driver wears it and it is prominently shown. It means something,...

Drive Red Band Trailer. Nicolas Winding Refn‘s Drive (2011) red band movie trailer stars Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston, Ron Perlman, and Christina Hendricks. Drive‘s plot synopsis: “A Hollywood stunt driver (Ryan Gosling) who usually keeps to himself and moonlights as a wheelman discovers that a contract has been put on him by a local mob boss after a heist that goes wrong.”
This looks like everything The Transporter isn’t: intense, serious with absolutely no cheese. Also glad producers have noticed Christina Hendricks and are using her more in their films.
Drive also stars Oscar Isaac, Albert Brooks, Tina Huang, Joe Pingue, Cesar Garcia, James Biberi, Jeff Wolfe, Sarah Adela Tirado, Christian Cage, and Tiara Parker.
