Met Nina Simone in Washington, D.C. and immediately they developed a friendship. Nina Simone introduced William to George Benson backstage in his dressing room, before he took the stage when they attended one of his concerts at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD.

William moved to California with a short life expectancy, after suffering a fractured skull from a gunshot wound to the head.

First started writing as a Poet and lyricist.

Played baseball with the Dodgers Organization in Washington, D.C. and attended spring training camp in Miami with the Baltimore Orioles.

Provided years of service in Washington, D.C. including attending former President Reagan's 1st Inaugural Ball, chauffeuring former President Carter's White House Press Secretary Jody Powell, and former CIA Director William Colby. Attended President Bush's 2007 Presidential Dinner in Washington, D.C., Attended, filmed First Lady Michelle Obama at the DNC(Democratic National Convention) in Denver, Colorado.

He is a 1980's graduate of the Smith & Wesson Firearms Academy in Alexandria, Virginia. He attended and graduated with the Security Forces of the Turkish Embassy; He received "Sharp Shooter" honors, and was awarded his diploma by The Turkish Ambassador to the United States.

Most of William's poetry is on file at the Library of Congress. However William wrote a poem "Lady In Blue" for Mrs. Heinz of the famous H. J. Heinz Company which he gave to her personally and never had it registered.

Edgar Bergen personally introduced Charlie McCarthy to William.

He was a personal driver for the distinguished and awarded Journalist, Reporter and ABC News anchorman Frank Reynolds.

Attended Ballou Senior High School in Washington, D.C.
